I Absolutely LOVED this documentary about the making of Sense and Sensibility! Emma Thompson and the entire cast were extraordinary. One of my all-time favorite Jane Austen movie adaptations. I've always wanted to know Thompson's process of writing the screenplay as well as how each actor approached their characters. Such a joy to watch. Thank you!

I hated that empire sort of neckline and dress falling from underneath the breast it's extremely unflattering !despite the bosom aspect and emma is right we don't know how to behave in our society and sex is all the more interesting because of the mores of the times and impropriety women these days have lost the plot they just don't know the meaning of enticement !

I agree about the writing and direction especially the humour ! That was hilarious about the first letter of eleanours secret love being an F and the wordplay around that as in thekey of f major etc so funny !also emelda staunton and hugh laurie who were a true comedy act! It ws such a brilliant collection of the best i loved the movie i dont know how many times i have watched it and a lot when i have been depressed !

In the movie Michael was a traitor of love actually and a coward in life, that's is the reason she took her life. She felt betrayed.

The kid was a a boy even in real life, Kate explained him like a mother what the guy ask him. I am surprised he played good in the movie.

He loves her. She sees him as a good friend.

I watch the movie then and watch until now over and over again. If I say I say I like the movie is an understatement. I love the movie is more appropriate.

I started to watch this because I love these two together, but! I hate the fact that Hollywood puts God on the back burner,they use Gods name so irresponsible! Example : G damn it around ever corner,our country has gone down hill in this respect ,I turned it off wishing I could watch this movie,but I can’t deal with the fact that these two brilliant actors didn’t care about the God that gave them the gift of acting,titanic was wonderful I think I heard the phrase once ,twice at the most ! I just watched Titanic last night actually,why didn’t jack get on that door plank with rose ? Anyhow I just pray that these two think about what I said about putting Gods feeling before they’re own and see how there life can get even better. ,! I love you both so much!! I just told my daughter today that one of my favorite parts is when Rose says to her intended fiancé “ I’d rather be his whore than you’re wife” then the awesome Louie! He was gorgeous too but any man who hits a woman is a looser !! Jack yummy in all ways. ,

Great stuff, plus they are truly in love with each other in a certain sense.When he walked her down the aisle and this is just my thought, I wonder what deep down she thought. ..
