It’s a shame they made the movie about Liu Kang so much in some ways. Raiden and Kitana were much more mysterious interesting characters I still want to see more of and learn more about them and their lore and backstory

Watching this Original MK movie on at 40 years old recently ...I way more appreciate the fight choreography now than I did when I was a kid. Linden Ashby, Robin Shou, and the martial artist who played the ninjas. Liu Kang vs Reptile with that soundtrack is fkn awesome

This is a brilliant scene and very clever as well when those guys switched the balls and pressed the button under his shirt so that Nick looses 26 black and then he just says luck?! Slashes the thing on his shirt and then pulls out the wheel with his sowrd and that black woman picks it up and screams look at this and then all hell breaks loose in the club and Nick ducks down and grabs his chips for winning and then a cowboy helps himself to Nicks chips some greedy people in casinos but an absolutely fantastic movie and one of the very best of all time that's what I think and Rutger Haurer is an fantastic actor in this particular move best of all time.

The dad wasn’t a good friend. Nick and him served in the war together. Nick saved his ass and Billy’s too. The dad just ignored Nick when boarding the bus as if he’s nobody. Wtf kind of friend is that? Nick felt betrayed and didn’t belong. Hence he decided to leave.

I remember being in the theaters, seeing Raiden's outfit and hearing that voice sent chills down my spine.

Raiden was such a boss. He never abused his power, despite being an untouchable god. Like when he apologized to that soldier whose arm he punched, when in actuality he could have made HIM apologize for nothing, just on GP. But he didn’t. Always dignified and wise.
