I used to solo camp on an estate in my family. The woods and lake were great. I also had a 10ga, a 444 Marlin, and a 357 mag as a sidearm. Was never afraid, had a great place for my tent. Trout in the lake, never saw a Bigfoot, but I totally believe they exist.

(I am a born and bred Washingtonian) Why would you waste 35 minutes of my life I can never get back to watch yet another nature hike video disguised as a sasquatch documentary WHEN THE ONLY SHRED OF MAYBE IS A RE-CREATION? It's a nature hike with a fake whoop! Has anyone even thought about the fact that we have numerous Vietnam veterans with severe PTSD that left society and have been residing in the woods of Washington State for decades now? What would you do if you wanted to be left alone and had skills and knowledge of how to not only disguise yourself but took it to the next level and created a legend so that not only you but your buddies could live in peace? Myself having been houseless in the past we had a certain whoop we used when approaching someone's spot so as not to spook a flailer, lol. Nobody ever just said hello, it was always a whoop so u knew it was a fellow flailer....I believe Bigfoot could be real but common sense tells me that my theory is much more likely. That's why there have been sightings but NEVER CAPTURED ON CAMERA. Pardon me for saying but these guys are nuts to the point of being a danger to their spouses and others and it's been a long time since they've been living out there..... Ockham's Razor..... Rednecks that know the word "vocalization". Hmmm ..

They are people, and until you realise this, and stop with all the "ape" nonsense, you'll never learn anything. If they were apes or gigantopithecus we would of had them on trail cams and film decades ago. Choanito are people with people type intelligence. They have a language, they use tools and a host of other people type traits. Somehow there are still those who do not believe they are there, and scoff at such statements. The folk who react this way have done zero research on the subject, or are ignorant to the facts. We should be moving much further ahead now and forgetting about if they are real, but more towards who are they. Another myth is that you have to travel to the middle of nowhere to find them, not true. You have just as much chance of seeing them right on the edge of town. Rural towns, golf courses, cemetery's, farmland, large parks and even some gardens have all had sightings in them. They travel undercover of night to dumpster dive in some big cities, even being mistaken for homeless peoples activity.

Yep. Rode the powerlines as a kid. Back then, we could ride from Black Diamond all the way deep into Seattle in one day, easy. Sadly, when they built through the valley, they took some of the best farm soil in the world. 😢

I grew up in Washington State and the Squach are just a part of life. We knew about them as kids, as Washington was mostly deep woods then, and when ALL the forest noises stopped, you could feel them. Bear didn't stop the bugs or birds, the opposite really, and they didn't raise the hairs on the back of your neck. The females and the young don't stink, and you don't usually feel menace from them. The stink, the feeling of being stalked, and the feeling of menace, that's all the big males. I do think that they are just as individual as we are, and if they had their way, they would avoid us all together. If you have to share land with them, leave them food and fruit in fall and winter. The only way to have a friend is to be one.

My encounter was along the power lines. East Texas outside Scottsville in 1974. I was 11. It was nighttime but there was some lighting. It was after a rain and I got my foot stuck in mud.

I live in upper Whatcom County, Washington State where Sasquatch sightings are not rare and are numbered up in the one hundreds. In 2018, I started seeing Sasquatch on my property, as my home is surrounded by Native American reservation land. Since that first encounter, I have learned through strong feelings and intuition, the Sasquatch are trying to find humans they can connect with, and who will be open to learn the truth about who they are. They want humans to know they are NOT monsters, but rather peaceful, intelligent beings capable of unconditional love. At his time they seriously want to help humans heal their lives. They call themselves the guardians of the earth in this area. They raise families, and I have seen their children several times. They are feeling the encroaching, spread of humans into their habitat and worry for their safety and the safety of their children. Recently, Washington State has adopted the Sasquatch as a state symbol. Unfortunately, they have labeled this new symbol as monster. Washington State's "Sasquatch Monster." I had contacted the agency in our government strongly suggesting we change the label from "monster" to "legend." Anyone from Washington does not consider Sasquatch a "monster." Mostly we consider Sasquatch a "legend;" many of us believe Sasquatch is real but typically use the perspective of a "Legend." I have taken this space to speak the truth about Sasquatch, as I am committed to helping raise awareness for them. Lastly, I have a direct statement from the Sasquatch male, an elder of his community with whom I am very closely connected and have his full and unconditional protection that I want to share: "Humans are part of the Earth, not the center of it." ---Sasquatch Elder
