Hello Bill, If I remove the accessory holder can the headrest go all the way down to the seat top like the rear headrest Do ?
Yes!
Well I pushed the button to lower the head rest and it stops at about a 1 1/2” from the seat ?
I should of mentioned that I did remove the accessory holder and it still won’t go down to the top of the seat back like the rear head rest do.
What model do you have?
I have a 2022 Range Rover HST

Hi, Where did you get the tool to remove the clips?
The tool is usually found in the upper or lower glovebox or center console. You can get the tool at any Land Rover parts department.
Is there any other tool one could use? I lost mine 😮

Flawed design. Too thick so you are forced to have headrest too high. Should be half the thickness
I totally agree with you. Land Rover has now integrated the retainer directly in the back of the seat and is no longer fasten to the headrests.

Where did the tool come from to remove the lock already on there?
Here at Land Rover Fort Lauderdale, our service technicians will put the bag which contains two of them in the center console storage. If you don’t see them there, check the original box that contained the Click & Go base. Or, they could be in the glovebox, depending on the store that you originally purchased from.
