Surprise! If you haven't heard, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart was announced for the PS5 earlier today, and to celebrate, I present to you my magnum opus: a nine-hour music compilation of the greatest Ratchet and Clank tracks. Needless to say, I'm done making Ratchet and Clank music compilations. I'm actually not quite sure what I'm going to be doing with the channel from hereon out; I guess we'll see. But for now, I'll leave you all with what I think is the absolute best Ratchet and Clank music to jam to, study to, or game to.

Man...composers with D names in this era, early 2000s, were Geniuses! David Bergeaud was the Danny Elfman of gaming OSTs! Metropolis is my Home. The progression of a cool city and planet, to an urgent sense of planetary agent bond feels, to then a orchestral fall of the planet. Me, i stood it all with Metropolis. Personally, thank you Insomniac. For everything. To go back to roots again would be WONDERFUL.

it is very good. I also like magnaplated yt's compilation of "the best R&C music" and it's almost every single track from the ps2/psp games but in random order lol. It's a 9hr long compilation I tune into sometimes, just closing my eyes and choosing some random time

Playing Ratchet and clank since 2003,my childhood and my adulthood most favourite game till to this day.My 4 brothers all love this game equally since we played it together, and soon im gonna introduce this game to my son, he is currently 2 years old so in 2 years from now.Best game ever made, Insomniac you are the best.

while I agree that there are some good songs in that game, I think it is appropiately-rated. It is much worse and forgetable than the psp/ps2 games' soundtracks, with way too many generic semi-ambient tracks that just say "jungle" or "pirate". But the songs that say something different are pretty good.
@@maestrofeli4259 Yeah i can kind of agree, I think the fact that Beurguead had to do the ost for that, resistance, qfb, sm and sac all in the space of a couple years probably effected the quality of the tracks somewhat, and while they do have that notable ratchet aesthetic, they feel like they've lost some of the essence of what made early ratchet music so great. No wonder he quit after that, he must've been exhausted. Still I think tools has a good soundtrack overall, and I think we can both agree that it's still a lot better than the osts from A4O onwards, no disrespect to Micheal Bross but I feel like he really doesn't understand the "feel" of ratchet.
