Thank you for doing a review of the new 2025. I have a 2024 BRZ. I absolutely enjoy every minute of driving it. I’ve been curious about the new sport mode feature. I checked out a new 2025 at my local dealer. I’ve never been a big fan of car makers doing this because it usually just gives an illusion of the car feeling faster by changing the throttle mapping. In sport mode it’s basically giving you more throttle with less input. When pressing the peddle halfway you’re actually at full throttle and the other half of the peddle is dead. In normal mode, it feels much more linear and pulls all of the way to red line. What is your take on it?

The filters are a 15 minute job you can do yourself for $50. Differential can be done yourself for $60. Changing brake fluid is a joke and totally unnecessary.

1:56, more pistons does not equal better braking distance. As a reviewer you should know that big brake kit wont make you stop faster! Bigger calipers are only necessary when a vehicle struggles to generate enough brake force to lock the wheels. Larger brakes can help with heat dissipation due to larger surface area, but braking distance is largely dependent on the tires, the width, engine placement and other different factors.

I'm quite annoyed that the North American market doesn't get the exclusive burgundy accent seats and red stitch upper door and gauge visor that Australia gets with the 2024 BRZ tS and Japan's equivalent version BRZ STI sport. The blue accents doesn't even go well with the red trim on the gauge cluster.
