Someone already commented on this but the band didn’t do too bad with Axel’s net worth at 200mil, Slash is reported at 100mil, Duff is 70mil, Izzy is 28mil and it’s reported that Steven Alder’s net worth is 15mil. Don’t know how accurate those figures are, but you get the point.

Its funny, I've grown up hearing about the battle between Fogerty an the music business an how its all about his struggle with "big music". But nobody, especially John Fogerty, seems to have gave a damn about the rest of the band. They most likely got even worse contracts and got screwed over even more and had nothing to fall back on post breakup. John Fogerty as a solo artist had just 1 album and not much to offer on it. I lost any respect for him when he sued his fellow bandmates in 1995 for trying to make some money out of the CCR abbreviation, changing Revival to Revisited. Which John ultimately lost that lawsuit, but suing the only remaining living bandmates that have done diddly squat since the breakup is just narcissistic behavior and better suited for the Don Henley party of 1.

But the need for the money is what keeps it going and going and going until it comes to a stop.....

Given all the ramifications listed in this video, I'm still not sure how Fogerty "outsmarted" the music industry. He lost MILLIONS, he made Saul Whothefuckcares filthy rich, etc etc. Sure, he got a measure of payback. But was it proportional?

This is very interesting story Documentary; I am glad the John Fogerty that he got his sweet revenge, but it only goes to show that before signing a record deal, read the fine print. Another thing, I prefer CCR and John Fogerty over Bruce Springsteen any day of my life.
