Hi there Phil and Carolina .... Very amusing and colourful episode, mate! Loved the wooden sculptures and the (very) witty amended STOP sign. Good to see you both so relaxed, mate. I guess one of the uncertainties about the (unplanned) crossing of paths with other travellers on the Camino is that one never knows what they might be carrying metaphorically on the inside ... sometimes they are open and sometimes they are closed books, right? ... and getting the synchronicity of openness in both parties going at the same time might be a conjuring trick too far. Hola Amigo's! Really stunning photographs! ... and amazingly clean streams. I'm not too sure about who they used to translate that poem on the base of the sculpture - I think there may have been something lost in translation there - but I looked the guy up - quite a prodigious sculptor, often in metal. Bom Dia, Amigos! Darn - I didn't realise you were going through Viana do Castelo until I saw your video - I have a friend who lives there. Ah well ... such is life. I got to admit, the scenery is stunning and the videos are a treat - Gives one a real sense of being there (But we do miss the witty essays of the days of past caminos and trails, Pedro!).
