I'm making a burger on my Trangia 27-3 portable stove and crashing my GoPro 7 Hero Black.
Walking in the air - Snowman

My own version of Walking In The Air by Howard Blake. Background Cover by Nightwish. I just added vocals and some lead guitar at the end. Just for fun! Recorded in "Smaskens Taverna" by Peter Gustafsson.
Higher

Minds Eye Theatre. HIGHER I guess that you can call it destiny The way I’m tryin’ to live my life It’s like a beast has got inside of me It’s like a change If I fall just like a feather slowly from the sky Out of the ashes into the fire Then it’s time to die Now I’m reaching higher Closer to the sun Cause when ever I feel low a little higher is the way to go The only way to go Higher So now I’m...
Very nice.
Nice video. In your frog setup your chest harnes was waaay to loose, so you sre losing s lot if efficiency and working harder than you need t. You are losing a food 8" of progress on each sit cycle.
Lotta moving parts.
Well done I'm going to be using for SRT saddle hunting 👍🙂
Great memory. At that time, the stairwell had not yet been destroyed by fire. I went back up to the roof and couldn't make the complete descent down the tower wall. We didn't want to take the arduous way up again. And at the top of the roof edge, the wooden beam is missing in the meantime. That makes the whole thing very scary. Beautiful drone shots. Thank you for your insights into Ramhäll. It was a huge adventure for us too.
It's completely understandable that you did what you did. saw on film that the way up was no joke. Great job! 💪
Have already seen this fantastic adventure at "Olli's World". Great pictures, must have been fun. Greetings from Germany
Hi Henrik, thanks for sharing your video. Luckily RUclips recommended it to me as I’ve been searching similar videos. This is only the second time that I’ve seen a hand loop added to an ascender. It looks like an elegant addition and makes for a smoother ascent. The hand loop looks tiny - can I ask you what length it is and maybe where I could source one?
That’s awesome techniques! Thanks for sharing. What do you think about the Petzl Zigzag?
I have no experience with zigzag. But it looks nice. 🙂
Nice video! Can you elaborate what the purpose of the lanyard is in technique 1? I am using this technique but without it and I am alway curious at improving things so.. For 2 and 3 I don't like the fact that I would have to mount my belay device while being at height already, I want to be sure it is 'keeping' me up, which is the case when I used it to go up. Maybe I will be working out a way to fix this, I also saw the knee ascenders which compares to the no 3 setup, but it's quit costly if you don't know if it is going to work well. I am dealing with the same issue as @MickeSamurai, quite heavy and not very well balanced (leaning over backwards quit a bit), so eager to find another technique which solves this for me. Never the less, thanks for making this very clear video
The lanyard is an extra protection. If the grigri fails you will be hanging in the ascender. Nice that you liked the video.
@ nice addition, thanks for replying
The "lanyard" is necessary and present in all three setups, it's just not labeled in the second two setups.
Being in the same position as you, I do like 3,but I dislike having to mount the belaying device while being on top, maybe you have a solution for that?
buenisimoooooo
Hi dear friend, Thank you for your time. I am your fan, and I really like the videos you share on RUclips, I think they are very interesting. I have some camera accessories and hope to find some testers for free review. Are you interested in this?
As a happy amateur, I make some videos for fun. Making reviews feels a little too advanced. But glad you liked it.
What a good performance ! I definitely love that one ! Thank you for this true piece of art and “bravo” from France :)
How nice that you liked it. As you say, this is a real masterpiece like so many other Nightwish songs. The first time I heard it with Floors' voice, I was almost moved to tears.
awesome video dude ... cool to see these methods!
Thanks! nice that you liked it. 🙂
Trank you how you present the different techniques and the location is brilliant 😎 Kind regards, Christian
forgot to close your Croll :P
You are absolutely right. I forgot. Good that you are attentive. 👍
@ attentive or just OCD lol :P
Thanks for the video ! Happy geocaching !
Idiot. Your camera its so far.
Bravo! Bravo!! Bravo!!!
Long ago I used to transition to a rescue rack while hanging from a prusik . Nice modern gear !
Brave..💪
Not closed croll
Awesome performance!
Thanks! I'm so glad you liked it.
My boss taught me how to climb 4 years ago and all we use is SRT with a Blake's hitch and saddle nothing else I've never used an Ascender is there any place I could try them out without paying so much to buy one
Really cool technique
Good climbing.
It was really fun but we will return as we did not manage to get through the most difficult course. It ends with a bungee jump and I want to test that. 😀
This is the one of the mains maneuvres of irata:) good.
Amazing!
Såg inte fel ut 😀
Funkade faktisk! 😉
Fantastisk! Mer sånt här!
A masterpiece Henrik! now I got hungry 👌
😁🍔
Thank you for the video. It's really very comfortable. But it's reasonably also to use second rope with ASAP LOCK for safety. Single rope is dangerously.
I do not work with rope access. I use SRT when we practice the hobby Geocaching and free climbing and then never use backup ropes.
@ Yes, thank you, I already found your answer to this question below. I would use safety rope in any cases :-)
@@sergeivershinin549When top rope or lead climbing you can't use backup and you are right climbing is dangerous.
@ :-)
@@sergeivershinin549 Rope Access technicians are using a back up line because they are working and there are many things that can cut or damage your ropes, welding, grinding, sharp edges or chemicals. I did the trainings for rope access in germany and what I learned is that the people telling you to use two ropes for hobby and freetime are never experts themselfs. A single rope for hobby is more than capable to carry you, all you need to too obey is edgr prptection.
I am a Tree Climbing junky. I climb for fun and have so much gear. I have about $6,000 or so In gear n ropes. I even love the sound of carabiners clicking lol. Just got some Tree Camping gear so I hope to be spending the night about 80 feet off the ground.
Why would you want to spend the night that high off the ground? If you get bitten by something you’ll be up shit creek
@@aliray1165 still tied into the climbing system, if you get bitten you can rappel (source, im an arborist)
@@WoodCutr1 no you can’t rappel because you have been bitten and most likely panicked and poisoned. At 80 ft up in pitch black disoriented and sleep deprived you’re asking for trouble. Source: I’m an arborist
@@aliray1165 uhh, roll tf over and pull on your hitch, pretty fucking simple
@@WoodCutr1 I bet you’re the sort of arborist that never makes mistakes and everything is easy. In which case be my guest, but my general feeling is that it’s not only a bad idea, it’s a very very bad idea.
bien sin guante
Good that you are attentive. Of course you should wear gloves. Saw now that I have it on the way up and on the way down but have missed it in the middle part where I switch to rappelling.
Fin plats! Såg perfekt ut som klättringsträningsplats 👍
Precis!
Amazing locations (and weather!). Great video with lovely shots, good job!
Thank you! nice to hear you like it. 🙂
Fina omgivningar och en mycket trevlig film 👏
Tack! Jo det finns mycket trevligt på Kullen. 👍
Magiskt Henrik 🔥🔥🔥
@@parrageus402 Bara vandringsled.
Great location! Such amazing scenery and views. AND a geocaching? Fantastic!
Kinnekulle is full of nice geocaches. 👍
Oh i love this song so much. Here you have a piano version played by me ruclips.net/video/Yk_eYvvJaI0/видео.html Thanks for posting this one :) Thumb up
How did you unclip the chest ascender? Did you just pull your weight up using the hand ascender to get rid of tension on the chest ascender? How long should the leg loop be in proportion to your body? Thank you.
Also wanted to add: Really cool demonstration!!!
Yes exactly. Unfortunately do not have a good answer regarding the length of the loop. But think it should be quite long so you only take short steps.
You made coming off the croll look easy, I always take a few goes!
The only thing you have different to what I use in Rope Access is you have a wrist loop on the top of your Hand Ascender to help pull it up. Plus the addition of a Foot Ascender. I like it, I'm going to have to give this a try.
Backup line?
I do not work with rope access. I use srt when we practice the hobby Geocaching and free climbing and then never use backup ropes.
@ nice - we cache too.... most geocachers will use a doubled up ladder to get 8m+ up, then free climb without a rope in sight..... I'll take SRT or even dDRT thanks! :)
awesome, i have Petzl Croll and Ascension just need to buy foot ascender. Thanks for the demo
