I'm still so glad you're doing this series, I had my first event this past weekend and did really well, I took some of your tips and I'm taking more of these for my next one on Small Business Saturday. The branding I think I have down but with how you mentioned in person events and people being walking billboards is sooo true! I had people buy my loaf cat crochet plushies and keychains I made that said " I <3 Peeing" and they kept sending people back to me, I could only imagine if I had a bag with a sticker/stamp with my business name on it how much more that would have helped converted sales! Also I found with Etsy I didn't realize they charge an extra fee on shipping D: So I don't know if it's better for people starting out to raise your prices for physical products to compensate for the shipping. ALSO I looked at my Etsy account after my in person market ( I use Square) I don't think people talk about this enough but when your square and Etsy are interrogated you will be CHARGED a transaction fee from Etsy 0.20 and a listing fee 0.20, plus the square fees. I ended up losing another $5-10 which doesn't seem like much but after a few events it would add up pretty quick that was with one day D: Anyways, I hope all is well thank you again for all the tips and tricks I've been crocheting while listening to your videos. I hope Tink is doing well too! <3

Loved your story about peeing sounds! I'm a trans man, and in the men's room stalls I am always self conscious about the sound. I doubt they notice. lol and of course men's rooms are an exercise in mental fortitude with sanitation concerns!
