When art meets art.
That was fire bro
How does he make it sounds so real like there's a whole crazy band playing this music? It's so alive! It's beautiful.
💯👾😎🔊🎹🎚
please) i need name this video
Sonatine (1993) movie
Awesomeness personified ❤
from a chord progression perspective, it’s interesting to hear how it never resolves, even though you kinda expect it to somewhere
モヤモヤしたから毒に成りかねないと思いひさしぶりに観にきました、すっきりした
Just used google translate for the first time to see what this song was called as it was on my discover weekly. Not disappointed
Is that original clip? I know it's from movie it just suits perfectly
Sonatine
someone farting in the corner of my head
sonatine, great film
very cool
Woow, this fits so well! Amazing edit!
The gun was empty.
This song always feels like youre on the brink of something but also nothing at the same time. It has like, that persistent progression but it never really hits a climax- if that makes any sense. Its really beautiful in the way that it almost captures the mundane. The mundane, in all its simplicity and torment. Basically, it captures so many emotions in a very natural way- the everyday ups and downs of life. When I listen to it, I always think of someone feeling so many intense and overwhelming emotions but keeping them all inside a calm and collected body. It kind of reflects the idea of being close to just going crazy- with the constant progression in the music- but ultimately never releasing it, which shows in the fact that this song never reaches a beat drop, or climax- despite the times when I think RDJ kind of sets one up. I think it's called an anti-drop, or something similar- I dont really remember. What a masterpiece though! I'll love this song forever! ♾️
It is wild how good this is. And that’s precisely how to layer guitars on a synth song.
My life used to be like a film, now I just jack off the days.
...is a full bathtub that slipped on the tiled floor when getting in.
What a masterpiece!
oh yeah that moving that chair against the woodfloor noise is so fucking good... even thought about making it the last noise I ever hear
don’t say that
so real
This is SO well put together & the quality of both that Aphex Twin Song and the movie Sonatine is a pair of about as good as either music or movies get. Just on their own! Incredible imagination putting these two together it’s like they were meant to go together after seeing your cut of this. Thanks for making it.
Takeshi Kitano is a comedian. Are we laughing yet?
great !
I’ve never watched this movie, but these clips make me nostalgic for a time and place I never experienced
This song and this movie are so wonderful together. Thank you whoever made this.
Man I get a little teary-eyed. I seen this type of video. It takes me back of the days of golden RUclips. The editing and of course the music really hits hard
Love this song but after so many listens Im pretty sure that's the sound of a chair scooting on a wooden floor
beautiful editing
kitano is my goat and will forever be my idol.
When he said bwe bwe bwe bewp bwewp I really felt that
I coulda sworn I left a comment on this video when I first found it but I guess not still coming back here everytime I wanna listen to the song I get to relive this amazing visuals
good taste in music, one of best shoegaze album of all time
I’m never gonna stop listening to Aphex Twin!
In order to shine, one must be in utter darkness. Just like for a candle to illuminate, it's surrounding must be in darkness. This law is universal. I have come to realise that in order for us to be strong, happy, loving, intelligent and humble, one must experience weakness, sadness, hatred, stubborn and pride. Without experiencing weakness. One can not truly become strong. That is the law that the universe follows. So my friend, if you want to become strong. Then you need to know what it means to be weak.
Legendary video I likely found sonatine when you also did. I saw this video back at 300 views and it's great to see its growth.
I Accidently came across this a year ago , listened to it for weeks, somehow forgot about, and it just popped into my head today and here I am again. I love it❤❤
Remind me of the one game called “inside”
This is the best video I’ve ever watched
perfection
Dope editing! Wooo!
Hey my friend, really awesome video. Im wondering how you did the glitchy part at 0:17 - 0:23 ? Just manually? Or is there some sort of trick? Because i cannot get it to look right and spent 1+ hour just on that sequence))) I am using After Effects for reference. Thanks in advance
Never mind, i managed to make it decent))
@@Snowmotion840What did you do
Late 80s aesthetics in this film is something to behold,
this gives me a similar feeling the an empty bliss beyond this world does, its like if it was a modern song
This video and the song is such a vibe
incredible music w/ an incredible film, you've got good taste.
was this part of any anime openings?
You don't know depression like me, this is such a desolated song, a katarsis, glad the genre is coming back
Alberto Bálsamo
Love both for Sonatine and RDJ music (Alberto Balsalm is a masterpice). Thank you for this video.
