What kind of updates do you recommend after you buy a manufactured home? My husband and I want to buy a manufactured home but we don't want to spend more than a construction home.

Im literally in the process of having one installed. The old decapitated home was torn down today. I purchased from Clayton Homes. 4 bdrm Freedom Farmhouse 202,000! Insane price. Very nice home, but i do have concerns that isdues like this msy arise. I paid 20 grand for my land, which was also way overpriced. The cost of homes is completely out of control. I am also in Wrst Virginia. I was goung to add 3 decks. I opted to not have them add any! I was going to add a 2 stall garage. It was 60grand more! I left that off as well to stay 50,000.00 under budget and keep my pymt as low as i could.

Does anyone know if your leasing to own one do you still register it and pay the tax? Or are except since you still don’t own it? I’m in Illinois.

I’d live in North Fort Myers Florida and the houses go for $189,000 that’s crazy for what you paid for yours and I will not buy one I have a 1977 I live in I paid $30,000 it still needs some work but that’s OK Thank you very much for this video because I was looking at a new one I cannot afford a brand new one so I’m hoping the price is due drop thank you again please don’t

🚨I thought that you can’t stand plywood up on an exterior wall. 4x8 sheets of plywood sheathing should be laid down horizontal and span the studs in that orientation to prevent bowing between each stud. You definitely can’t run plywood like that for subfloor in a house

The last mobile home was made in 1976 , they are called manufactured homes and have to follow a specific manufacturing code. Once the unit is on your lot you will NEVER hear from the manufacturer again they will absolutely abandon you!

If he ran out of room on the ratchets (reel filled up). He tied off the stretcher with ropes to the post. Release the straps Unrolled the ratchet straps. Put the strap hooks back on the stretcher and continue to stretch.

We're trying to take a more stable approach with her and find out how much more serious you should be with her frame if your gonna think about dry walling room by room, but starting off from base t9 floor to walls (doors and windows on the s8de)
