In Greece where it’s the Greek Orthodox Church, lent is 40 days before Easter and "everyone" goes vegan and the only animal products we eat are: shellfish, shrimp, lobster, calamari, octopus and scallops. Not "everyone" but a lot of people. Those who don’t partake usually are the ones who eat a lot of fast food or hate eating vegetables. Lent over here is more of a cultural thing vs a religious thing. You know how you associate certain foods with certain seasons and holidays? Like pumpkin pie around thanksgiving, turkey etc? That’s kind of how lent is here. And it’s an awesome time for us vegans, vegetarians and pescatarians. I hope you continue reacting to the show OR watch it on your own. It’s the funniest show I’ve ever seen and so real. The humour is consistent until the last episode. It’s the only show where I’m always laughing constantly. As for the bus route - most people walk to school if they’re attending a public school. Buses are usually for private schools. HOWEVER, if you live in a small town there will be 1 or 2 schools there and you would need to take a bus if you don’t live within walking distance.

100% recommend checking out some of the loona members’ work (post leaving their previous company). A good choice imo would be Virtual Angel by ARTMS or maybe Un/fair (the members themselves came up with the music video for this song). Cotton Candy by Loossemble would also be cool If you choose to do Virtual Angel, please consider the Human Eye Version. The original has a lot of flashing lights and scenes so on top of the seizure warning, it can be very hard to pick up what is going on. Also! Wanted to add that I really loved this reaction. The way you picked up on a lot of symbolism without having any experience with the Loonaverse was awesome. Fun fact, the girl getting pined after in the vid has the stage name Yves (pronounced Eve) and her and her unit’s lore has a loot of parallels/references with the bible, eden, eating the forbidden fruit, defying god, etc.

I worked in Londonderry just after the peace agreement was signed. If i called the place Derry, i was scorned at if i called it Londonderry i was scorned at Northern Ireland. Kristin personally picked Ariana to play Glinda because she wanted someone who could have that horrible attitude toward Elphaba and be able to convincingly flip to a nicer attitude in a second.

I'm not sure what you're hearing in terms of this performance somehow revealing flaws in her earlier singing, especially since this performance was post-album. Can't really follow there. I love this performance SO much. Before this, she had pretty much given up on the project and was thinking of going back to school. It was her last hurrah, leave it all on the floor with a mic drop performance. And yes, this was long before any voice lessons. Each performer does leave an item to decorate the office. I think she's going to eventually try to use the knowledge of the cards she pulled, that haven't happened yet, to prevent/encourage something from/to happen by the end of the Road.

GCSE's would be most similar to the GED in the US by comparison. After a student completes them, they can continue studying at school and take A levels [which are used for university admission], leave school and start working or go and start an apprenticeship or some other form of training for a specific vocational career pathway.
