At least he’s upfront about the nepotism unlike other rags to riches celebs
Secret to life, not what you know it's who you know
I remember when we signed him after fisher , that 2017 season was so amazing
I'm just gonna say if they ever make a movie about him they should get the actor who played eddie thawne (Rick Cosnett) in the flash to play him.
No he doesn't have photographic memory come on its Hollywood the interviewer gave a list things they will talk about. Damn people are so socially program to believe false information even whe the truth is right in there face!
Key word was "Connections" going be honest majority of these coaches can't relate to the player's! Gruden family is completely racist and that's who was his major connection wow. Don't believe he actually earned it. People keep trying to change the words of what they mean, alot opportunity was given to him but Earned nah not even close
He's got a little bit of the Tism
I’m your 100th subscriber
Don't forget all the help he gets from the refs.
Cry
BS.
I thought Adam Sandler played The Waterboy?!?
5:07 || KING
Must be nice to have those connections. But great to work yourself up the ladder...
Whose here after he won the Super Bowl!
Well this aged very well lol
Go Rams….
Tbh this story is exactly what Brian Flores is talking about. Not saying McVay isn’t a good coach. But, the writing is on the wall
@Laura Deuce there is a thing called nepotism that runs ramped in professional coaching. You can choose to ignore the fact that they openly stated that here in the video. Or you can open your mind that maybe there is a problem. Flores is a head coach that was fired after 2 winning seasons, let that sink in for a moment, since success matters so much.
Nepotism - patronage bestowed or favoritism shown on the basis of family relationship, as in business and politics:
@@ernestmoore3250Lot's of coaches have good connections McVey included. McVey has two sb appearances in first 6 years. Gotta have talent to do that.
MCVAY IS NOTHING WITHOUT GOFF
..... Stay off drugs kids.
@@Jah_Berl UMADBRO? BRADY = GOAT OF CHEATING ELI = GOAT OF LUCK PEYTON = GOAT OF CHOKES BREES = GOAT OF WOKE GOFF = THE TRUE GOAT!!!!
@@masteredwinepps3955 troll?
@@bluepyrotech UMADBRO?
@@masteredwinepps3955What are you talking about? Goff panics under pressure. Complete bust in the SB. That's why they had to get Matthew Stafford. First year at the RAMS, wins the SB!!
0:20 Luck ? 😂, nah that’s privilege and it’s understandable given his granddaddy’s success.
Lot's of coaches have good connections. McVey has two sb appearances in first 6 years. Gotta have talent to do that.
Some people have more privilege than others. Life's not fair. Get over yourself
“One of the youngest” he’s literally THE youngest
Nepotism and white skin.
Making it to the top in the wwe. Is like making it to the top of Disney world castle i would say 🤔
So he got the job through privilege??? Go figure…. Doesn’t matter what you know but WHO you know!!
Privileged because many especially minorities wouldn’t have these opportunities
Viewing this after the Rams won the Super Bowl.........destiny
Nepetism
It's not what you know it's who
"In a podcast for ESPN"........proceeds to show him on with Big Kat and PFT....lol
Damn Simple Jack became an NFL Coach
Thank you Sean for what you did for RAMS
This explains why there are so few black head coaches in the NFL and College. If you have been hiring your friends and your friend's kids since the 50s.... well we all know what happened in the 50s. White privilege does not mean you didn't have hurdles in your life, it means that your race was not one of them. And clearly, this demonstrates how difficult it is for black coaches to get a shot. Go ahead bring on the hate.
k buddy
but it all worked out for him now a superbowl winning coach
Are we going to war with Russia?
Mind boggling. He really is the boy genius.
I think he's gonna take a break. Like dick vermeil. Apparently he coaches himself into ulcers
“And if you don’t know ,now you know”
Blessed to have connections
Okay, let’s be honest here. A great deal of his situation involved nepotism. Plain and simple. He’s a third generation NFL employee. His family were made of executives and coaches. It’s unfair to say he simply worked hard and was smarter.
Yeah. Unfortunately, most good jobs are like that. It’s all about who you know. But certainly put his work in when he got his chances and made success with it
They literally addressed that in the video.
All I hear is jealousy. Let it go. It'll rot your heart.
At 36 (he's younger than me), he has a strong coaching tree.
He had a good nose job!
Nah man that's just hard work & dedication
He’s dope at his job that’s why he’s going to succeed and become a HOF coach, and he’s white.
The fact he beat out Calvin Johnson and went to Miami of Ohio AFTER Big Ben is fucking nuts...
Who you know..
He has a SUPER BOWL CHIP NOW! GO RAMS!!!!
1 year later and he might not even be in the league next season smh..
Great video. How were you able to piece all those details together along with the footage? Thanks.
Only in America 🇺🇸!
I’m not sold on Mcvay yet, he had one of the most stacked teams in recent history on both sides of the field, this year should have been a walk in the park.
Any given Sunday. No season is a walk in the park.
Everyone was saying it to buccaneers win they SB.
dude, stop it, he took a 7-9 team to the playoffs the next season and then after that to the SB with pretty much the same players that fisher had.
You can’t play for the players.
@@theogpill 4-12*
and now superbowl champion
Update: He won a Super bowl
5:07 I saw that lol... What an adventure for McVay. Good job Coach
And he now is 55-26 (made the playoffs 4 out of 5 seasons). 7-3 in the playoffs. 2 SB appearances and 1 win. Just WOW.
WHOSE HOUSE?!
They paid for a super team....anything other than at least 1/2 sb's would be pretty sad. Lol be like saying Steve Kerr gets all the credit when the Warriors won their 1st in that title run.
A freaking prodigy!
@@kjax0630 not denying that they gave up their whole future to win now... but I don't see Jeff fisher doing the same thing.
@@kjax0630 isn't the point of building a team is to get the very best players at each position that you can possibly get? I don't believe building a superteam means anything less..like what "we got the best QB in the league, and the best WR so make sure mister GM don't get any other top 5 players for any positions bc thats to many superstars" lol ain't the point???!! I think people just mad that he has the ability to get all these top 5 players for as many positions as he can and no other team can do it.
