Lovely apartment! I love the gallery wall and the flooring. It’s very bright and cheerful. I lived in Rittenhouse Square many years ago. I loved the area. My apartment was in a brownstone. It was so big - 2 bedrooms but I could not find the light switch for the 2nd bedroom which had no window so I never used it. I don’t think I could afford to live there again but I tell myself if I win the lottery I’ll go back. 😂

That is the EXACT almost 100 year old tile I have in my bathroom!!! Looks like a video of my bathroom floor 😂😂 so cool to know I can do something different and affordable with them now!

Honestly I think the internet has really perpetuated this narrative of how cancelling plans is “good for your mental health”. But actually connecting with friends and getting out of the house is even better for your mental health most of the time. I’m not saying you’re never allowed to cancel if you’re not feeling up to it, but I always feel better when I go spend an evening with people who love and accept me.

Genuinely curious,what exactly prevents them from visiting ? I’m assuming they’ve visited other large cities at some point in their lives and emerged unscathed.
