HIIII!!! I am a first year college student, I wished I watched your video sooner:( Butttt you're so right on friends and potentially getting distracted by outside factors. First semester was a bit rough but I will def be ready for 2nd semester:)))

I had this same reaction when i saw the hostel i was going to stay at first, the distance to home was so much and when i saw the place I'll live my eyes started watering so i just went back in the car, just sat there PRAYING that my mom telepathically understands my state of mind right now, as she's one of the only people who understands me. And thank god she did, i was so freaking happy when my mom pat my head and said "it's alright, I'll find a better place for you" . i really felt privileged to have someone like her with me, she was snickering with me in the backseat as the rest of my family was talking about how we have to adjust in there. As of now, i got a new hostel and its so much better. i can't ask for more, I'm so grateful to have my mom with me, and that if you have someone that understands you, you've won in life.

♥️ I totally admire your work.. Thanks for everything that you do for us... Just wanted to add something.... Not always is this victom mentality our issue.. It can even be DEEP ROUTED BY REAL TRAUMA. We never know. We NEVER know. Some people just ARE really struggling with their lives no matter what they do to be better. They ARE trying their best, but things just dont work their way. There ARE lives like that..... When we generalize and say change the victim mentality.. and they just cant do it..theyll start thinking something is not okay with them sth is wrong with them. It can be even more harmful to them. Sorry if im wrong... I just felt like sharing this.
