Go Away Drone!
Просмотров 2882 года назад
Today we're going to attempt to remove drone by covering my trunk with sound deadening. spoiler alert. it didn't work work.. Well, it did.. kinda. sorta It removed quite a bit of noise but it is still louder than i'd like it to be. If I could do it again I would probably use Dyna-mat as I assume it will do a better job, but really ideally I will get a new set of mufflers. Thanks for watching

How does the bluetooth sound? I know with some of the cigarette plug in bluetooth adapters some of them sound like Sh**. I'm guessing with the ground loop isolator it sounds pretty decent.
Whew! Great news going forward. I was going to adjust them today although instead opted to paint the white parking area lines in front of my building instead. Tomorrow is "D" Day! lol
Didn't see any ratchet. I'm thinking that with my short fat hand I might drop the socket inside and not be able to retrieve it. So, the screws are easy to move?
@@MusicMr49 easy enough with just your hand. If you have an extension on the socket to hold onto
See if I got this straight - I measured my headlights from the ground up & they are 25" off the ground at the car. So, at 20' - 25' back you adjust both headlights to 25" vertically. Then adjust the passenger side headlight 26 3/4" from the center of the hood. What about the drivers side measurement from the center line out? It looks like the drivers side is down lower than the passengers side Vertically, right?
Driver side light should also be 26 3/4" from the center line. Both should be 25" off of the ground as well
@@thawkproductions4248 Thank you for your quick response. Really liked your video by the way. Could hear your voice well and your presentation was quality thawkproductions4248
I know this video is about 4 years old but is the port that’s coming from the intake manifold the out or in.?
The lower port on the engine connects to the catch can in The port that is higher on the engine is the catch can out
Good job 👍 that little gap between side skirt and flare piece would drive me crazy but looks good bud
Looks like Weatherpack connectors
Nice video!
Thank! Hope it helped
Where did you get your side skirts?
extremeonlinestore.com/collections/corvette-c6-parts-accessories/products/corvette-c6-grand-sport-z06-zr1-package-side-skirts-rocker-panels?variant=18710709698627
Thank you so much! But I cant get the plastic pics to go back in even with a hammer. Any advice?
Oh man! Idk. Nothing here should involve a hammer
I just did my tps on my yata but I went with oem because the whole re clocking and calibrating is a whole step that I feel is unnecessary unless of course you have aftermarket ecu but the oem part works even better than my original so that’s a plus
I have an 05 an installed foglights with turn signal in them but for some reason when I break the amber turn signal lights up. You have any ideas why this is
Do they also work as blinkers?
Much appreciated man. Thanks for getting right to the point and showing the steps!
Hey I did everything you said but mine didn’t work. When I press the foglight button it clicks on the relay but the lights don’t turn on and I was wondering if you might know why?
does that mean its alwats pulling volts or you have to pull the usb or does it drain the battery please advise 03 tahoe owner needs helps with bluetooth xm does work still
I believe I wired it better over on this video So it isn't always on ruclips.net/video/8o-h8Yojgzo/видео.htmlsi=F3ftVV0mtRhO9ggy
If my car has integrated fog lights in my headlights am I able to just buy an extension cable or hid kit?
Can you do that without a heat gun?
You probably could, but the vinyl is so much stickier and stretchier when it's hot It's a lot easier to use a heat gun
Where do i tap to get the oil temperature sensor placed?
Oil filter sandwich plate, I added one for an oil cooler. But you could add one specifically for a gauge
@@thawkproductions4248 i can put it on any tipe of filter?
@@IOAN2ER Potentially? I'm sure there are ones out there that can convert your filter threads/diameter. But the one I have still uses the same OEM size oil filter
That offset where the back of skirt meets the new vertical piece I can’t live with that
Wire the gauge lighting into the headlights/dash lights and then the brightness should correlate with the dash; if you haven't done this already.
Very well explained video, thanks😃👍
thanks for the info, very helpful

Well done Mr.

Solid job man
My fuse block has 2 purple wires connected to it right where you’re supposed to have the new one
Factory purple wires, or previous owner purple wires? lol
@@thawkproductions4248 yeah i already had the wiring for the fog lights but no fog lights
