I too have a 88 honda CRX that is currently sitting in the garage due to a lack of drive or motivation to work on it so I understand why you haven't touched your ride. Will definitely look forward to any content on this CRX or your personal Integra.

I feel the exact same. I ramble alot and my mind wanders while im trying to make a video every time. Not to mention, i have no clue what im doing on here as far as editing goes i just dont even edit videos i put them out n hope for the best. Would love to get some advice on how to improve the quality of my channel from someone who has a more professional knowledge of things. As for you feeling insecure, from the few videos ive watched so far youre doing great being your authentic self and while i think alot of social media is focused on the physical appearance, i do think that fades away alot faster as more of a fad, than the people who are trying to just be real and put out content that is meaningful, with a bigger sense of depth to it. I believe keepin it real is what will make you thrive in any aspect in life as long as you stick to it n put in the work. Awesome channel keep up the grind!❤🎶🔥

Nick, My gf, sarah, and I talk about this and for a while it got between our happiness because when I got clean I wanted to get back into my hobby but now I’m working and I’m truly better and real life requires my money and I have to be responsible and I have had to turn my passion around into truly understanding my limits. I’m still learning and still struggling a little but I am 100% sure that my favorite part about shoes is how they make me feel... it’s not the buying aspect. I don’t need to spend money to be happy but I love the way certain shoes make me feel or remind me of a point in my life. Some sneakers have a colorway or artistic style that just jumps at me. Sneakers have spoken to me since I was just a little guy. I told sarah that I would stop buying everything and focus on the models I truly love like SBs, dunks, Jordan 1s and 4s, trainers, and air Max’s and I would truly only TRY to keep the ones I really wanted and I would be a part of the hobby and my passion by trying to resell sneakers. I resell for supplemental income but honestly it’s because I love sneakers. I love the hunt and the history of the shoes and I love when a great quality shoe releases and you strike out 1000 times and you cherish that one you got the dub on. What sucks is that Nike decided to make 2020 the year of the dunk when I promised sarah I would only buy dunks hahaha little did I know they were going to release like 100 pairs this year... SMH 😂😂 Ive realized that I wear my shoes. I like to remember where I was and what I was doing when I wore certain pairs and I like the miles I put on them. I love shoes that look better as they age. I think part of growing up is just realizing our own goals and having self awareness as well. Making sure we aren’t addicted to shoes is great, I agree, but for sarah and I, we also see the harm capitalism does in the world and the waste that is made and the way the industry makes many shoes and the “whats next” culture is sickening honestly. I hate that I can’t wear all the shoes I own. I will be the first to admit that I own more shoes than I need and that sucks to have guilt like that but I have been through so much and this hobby and passion I have has brought me so much joy, friends, connections with people like you, and before covid I had a fundraiser that was giving sneakers/boots/and clothes to addicts in need and their families. I was able to do that because of my passion for these objects. I totally understand where you are coming from... deep down I know I’m sitting on like 20-30k in footwear and good news is that most of my shoes don’t even depreciate even though I wore them haha many have still gone up so part of this hobby has just been understanding the market and knowing what is smart to own because I know if anything were to ever happen and I needed money fast to help my family, my hobby wouldn’t hurt us and I could sell a shoe to help my family. I can always get more shoes and I only have one family and one me. Do you find it kind of crazy that we can have such deep and meaningful thoughts and conversations around a sneaker? My dad thinks I’m crazy haha to most people in the world these are just shoes... something to put on their feet and that’s it. To you and I... they are everything ya know?

Congrats Nick on being in control and buying that 1st shoe after a while, you look more comfortable in front of the camera now. Btw I used to draw shoes as well in junior high in 1997. I was so in love with the Airmax that I “invented” an Airmax crazy as hybrid of CB4 and Airmax 95. My sketch had air unit all over the sole. Not functional at all 😂 20 years later, I see that crazy sketch in the Airmax 720. Glad to see I wasn’t the only one.

I've been buying some sneakers but never once considered myself a sneakerhead--I tried denying it tbh. It was until I had 3 pairs of air max 90 infrareds coming through my doorstep that I realized that this isn't normal, I have only 2 feet! So that's how I accepted what I've become--for better or worse. At least I have a story to tell about them 😂
