You did a Kubrick filming. The first shot the station was going in a clockwork way, then the next shot, the station was going counter-clockwise. You should use a black cloth to hide the power cord. Did you film the model on a tabletop? The station was at angle as you moved the shots. What happened to the little shuttle?

I’ve always thought it was more realistic if windows were a little dim. It doesn’t look right to me to have the model look like there’s a stellar fragment inside the ship

Hey Randy - Cris reminded me of this great video! In fact, I was looking for this specific thing when I start to drill holes in my Kilowatt model for the fiber optics that you sent me as part of my special version of your lighting kit! You and Cris are the best! Just to confirm, area there any recommended drill bits to use? Or will any brand of small pin-vise drill bits work? Just wondering!

Regarding light blocking, could you use black hot glue sticks over the clear hot glue, or is space too tight? Cheers ✌️

Hi Randy, I watched this video three (3) times now and I realized this lighting kit is perfect for my model builds! The pulsating bluish/turquoise engine lighting effect is so good and then it transitions to the BSG engine boost effect. Coupled with the cockpit “on” lighting feature, thanks for putting this great kit together!😀👍👍

Hey Randy, sorry to comment so late, playing catch-up at work. I loved this "meet the parts" video, what a great looking kit. I received mine last week and am thrilled with it. Is there a lighting kit in our future?

To say that people have been waiting for this kit for a long time is one helluva understatement. The movie came out in 1968. That's 56 years, or more than half a century ago! It must have been the grandfather of someone at Mobius who suggested this to be made.

Hi. I was wondering if you released a video on the Alclad coating? Maybe I am missing it in the various video titles. I’ve never used all clad before and would love to learn more about it.

Actually, all you have to do with the windows id mask them and light block from the front.

Got mine from Monsters in Motion this morning. Three days from California to London. Thanks for the swift delivery MIM. This model is going to have to wait until Thunderbird 1 and the PanAm clipper is finished. Very interested to see how a lighting kit could be designed for this.

Very cool kit! Looks to be around 1/72 scale. Would be neat to display it with a light kit and some figures for the cockpit. Just need to accompany it with steppenwolf blasting lol. Thanks for the review Randy! Great job!
