In this video I'm building a budget pit bike made out of a Honda Wave 125cc moped and some Kawasaki KLX110 parts for a race called Moto Cheapie. The idea is to race a bike under R5000 ($260 US) for 4 hours offroad.

not to sure if you will see this but if so i have a 2010 klx 110 like you built previously, and i was wondering where i could find a wiring harness and other parts that im missing, and maybe you could tell me what im missing. this bike has been sitting for almost 2 years and the engine is perfectly fine, but i would like to get it up and running again so i can hopefully sell it
Hi. Sorry for the slow reply. So in this case I had build my own wiring loom from scratch as the bike had none. This uses a ac CDI as it’s a road motor but I’m almost certain a KLX110 just uses a dc CDI setup like a Chinese pit bike. It’s only 3 or 4 wires and the bike should run. You can get pit bike CDI’s pretty easily. Basically 2-3 wires to power the CDI and 1 will be the pick-up wire, and one last wire from the CDI to the kill switch.

Mine shifts the same down to go up the gears hehehe. Foot pegs as high as possible or they scrape the corners
So we did eventually come up with a solution to invert the shifting. Details of that will be in the next episode 💪

Sorry for the delayed response here. To be honest I tried multiple jets and never got that bike to quite run right. Always had a massive bog off the bottom.
