He is not talked about enough honestly. I'm not the biggest fan of this show (although some parts can be actually funny), but some of these characters are just too good for it lol. And the way his "arc" is not rly addressed but we still can see how he went from not liking the kids and Jessie to then openly consider them family is actually cute.

If this show wasn't for kids, there absolutely would have been an episode where Bertram gets so sick of the kids that he attempts to murder them via Home Alone style traps.
Unlike Squidward from SpongeBob, Bertram is actually funny and not a bad influence on kids.
