Just a little more progress on chopping my 54 Ford Customline body to fit My 1992 Subaru Legacy drive train. 13 inches removed from the front of the rear doors back to get my 102 inch wheelbase to line up. Hanging Ignition lock key cylinder, works when you jiggle it until it leaves you stranded. Here is a quick fix that doesn't cost anything. Just pry the metal tabs up and pull the stop bar and brass springs out and re install. Yes, any key will probably work now but the anti theft system should take over from there. If anything it will keep you going until you fix it properly.
