    I really would not care if a movie a book or a story is written by ai, why because ai used human ideas and human success to create something that can entertain and give a good story for the people and we can learn from it

    This film does have a lot of merit, but most of it comes from the acting and the directing -- top notch. The script, on the other hand, is uncanny. It is hard for me to enjoy the movie, because I find myself analyzing every line of dialog and the character arcs. Some of it it good, some of it is unnatural, some of it is cliche, and some of it is concerning when you remember an AI wrote it.

    This is so bad, it's hilarious. A character we don't even care about dies and in the next scene the main protagonist is sadly staring out of a window while it's raining outside, with gloomy lighting in the background. Peak cheese.

    That's was pretty good. It had emotional parts, but it wasn't written to make me feel them strongly. When he got back with his family, should have been a touching moment that should have made me shed a tear. I only knew it was a touching moment, but I didn't feel it.

    Flip the concept: can you tell that this movie was written by AI? Honestly I can't. I swear I can see the same from some arthouse or "Artsy" movies that'll win all the critics and bomb in the theaters. Not saying it's bad but, to me, this script passes the Turing test. (It certainly helps that the director and actors are still humans)

    • @pickupmygroceriespeasant
      @pickupmygroceriespeasant 14 часов назад

      You can't be serious. The narrative was so boring that I read the comments one third of the way through and didn't even care that I got spoilers. The characters have no depth to them, no distinguishing characteristics. It just feels like the AI is saying stuff and putting on different masks. The story doesn't progress, it just rehashes the same crap over and over. If this passes the Turing test to you then you must either not be very intelligent or never had a real interaction with a human.

    • @pickupmygroceriespeasant
      @pickupmygroceriespeasant 14 часов назад

      I think the AI chose the name Jack for the screenwriter because of The Shining. In that movie, we see and hear the name "Jack" a lot with no surname. "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" on the typewriter over and over. And the character of Jack in that movie also happens to be a writer. If a human did this, we would call it out for what it is. Lazy, garbage writing. But just because an AI did it, people are saying it's decent or even good.

    It fell sort of flat. A somewhat bland movie with very little action and somewhat weak characters. I think that the AI could have even done a little better with the right prompts. Still pretty interesting though. Actors carried it though.

    For a machine i think this movie is very well written. The dialogues are very realistic and amazingly complex, featuring deep Human emotions. But the repetitiveness of the whole story just kinda ruins it a little. Its only about the AI and everything, but still amazing how a little machine could do this!

    Wow. Great cinematography and high production value... But AI probably not going to affect genuine art for a while. I am aware of some heightened emotions surrounding tagging AI-created materials, (films, music, text, whatever it is), but at this present moment in time, the most obvious 'tag' AI generated things can get, is that it's dead average. At least I think that's the case at this present moment in time. Scary to think that this comment may be very untrue, maybe very soon...

      I think AI would just be a new writer in the town. Having it's own personality & way of writing. Data that it is being trained is shaping it's personality & i think more data it gets more 'stiff' it becomes, like any other human with life's experiences. The same thing giving it strength will start to hinder it's way into fresh creativity.

    20 minutes in i was actually really enjoying this movie i feel like it was built from human elements but in a much more efficient and smooth manner to what a human could have keeping in mind though that human interference could of had a positive or negative effect on the film since that acting directing and atmosphere as well as many other smaller aspects and roles of this film was done by humans therefor i feel like a cant properly judge it since it was made by both humans and AI but non the less here's my opinion on where it flopped @22.00 minutes is where it fell apart the overly reactive stereotypical partner in the relationship being overly concerned and or jealous of the AI honestly reminded me of so many films and i feel this was probably influenced by a lot of human made films that do this though i don't know how much time has passed since he started his AI writing project i get the impression its probably been 6-12 months or maybe even less and in my opinion i healthy relationship would allow the wife or husband in this case the wife to allow there partners biggest life's work project to take as much time as it needed even if they felt like they weren't being appreciated properly there is no evidence in the film so far that i feel warrant's the wife feeling so neglected though since the movie doesn't focus on there personal life like driving around eating together sleeping together i cant assume that he hasn't been neglecting her but also feel i cant assume he's just completely ignored her throughout there personal life since the start of his project as this wouldn't make sense there should be enough opportunity to keep the relationship alive even if its not up to normal relationship standards her asking jack are we ok didn't make sense and him saying i don't know also made no sense again there isn't enough of anything in the film to warrant either of these reactions he hasn't fallen in love with the AI he hasn't been taken over and if he had she could wait until his 1st project with the AI was over before over reacting so much @35.00 i feel the story gets way to serious over nothing as if he's deciding to kill someone he didn't sacrifice his career and even if he did he can move on and stop using AI if he has a audience they are not going to leave just because he did 1 AI movie another thing that wasn't fully transparent was what happened to his first project with the AI where it was only assisting him with the story did it get scrapped for the movie that the AI fully wrote or was it released before hand and just wasn't mentioned @43.29 jacks kid appears i feel this was a bit odd seeing so much of this movie and story only to just now see he has a kid even if we weren't introduced to him until now it made no sense that there was no mention of jack having a kid until now where has he been all this time ? could of made something up at the start like his kid was away some where like a private school or with family @48.00 in my opinion everything starts to feel unnatural here jack is a writer and suddenly after using AI once everything has changed? the amount of insecurity he must of had before had to be significant if this is all it took for him to become obsessed with his work also is this the first time he's had writers block or something ? I'm started to feel like his wife is his disapproving therapist more than anything and he's becoming emotional and stressed for no good reason its like he's forgetting how to live his life everything in a human life requires balance why isn't he taking a break? going on a holiday ? what happened to all the money he must have by now ? does he have no other hobbies? doesn't he have a place he can go or wanted to go that he thinks might inspire more inspiration ? doesn't he see the potential in writing a story about his own experience not only with AI but with life and how easily work can be a distraction from his family or how insecure someone can become as they get older. for a character i thought had a lot of integrity and balance he's falling apart in a unrealistic unconvincing way @50.00 i feel like its weird he hasn't just turned it off by now ? which also made me realise where is the cable powering this thing? if its battery powered then he's willingly charging it? jacks wife mentions his friendship with the AI as if he is always talking to it which i disagree with as I've only seen him talk to it 11 up until this point more than 5 of those times was purely work related and the first time was him being introduced to it 11 times to me doesn't sound like he's as obsessed with it as his wife would lead us to believe also this is over a time period of at least a few months which again doesn't sound like a great friendship yes he has been more connected to the AI then his family as she said but that's due to the fact he's ignored his family more than the AI because of his weird unnatural obsession with writing his own story which i do think is weird on his part @52 hes lost his job or is losing his job due to him not producing any work this could have happened and probably would have happened even if the AI wasn't part of his life unless the sole reason he's becoming bad at his job and at life is because he met AI which is a weird reason in my opinion as he only used the AI once the only thing that makes sense to me is that jack was already running out of ideas at the start of this movie and chose to "try" the AI because he needed help which might of meant he it was inevitable for him and he was destined to lose interest and or talent in his work which has happened to people in real life this is just a assumption though to try make sense of the parts of this movie that i am finding unnatural unrealistic and hard to believe @58.00 jacks friend says stop talking about the dam AI which is confusing as i didn't see jack in the film speaking about the AI that often @60.00 jack smashing the AI up ultimately was a odd way of starting to fix things he could have fixed by simply changing his actions conclusion to the film 1 jacks wife and friend i thought over reacted throughout the film 2 jack could have fixed things that where going wrong with a little more logic and thought but seemed to not even try i also found jacks character odd in the way he handle things 3 i found the story just sort of odd and unnatural the way things seemed to progress 4 the whole film had a bit of over reacting in it throughout its progress and often felt peoples reactions and responses weren't warranted or logical 5 if i dissected any film like this there would also be a list similar to this its not just because AI wrote it 6 good locations good music and ambiance good acting good lighting easy to watch and very smooth while being interesting my rating of this movie is 7/10 against all the films I've seen which is now 549 movies 1 of which was written by AI overall AI is happening weather we like it or not there's just to much money involved with it as long as we try regulate it and tag products made or influenced by it people can have the decision themselves weather to watch it or not and i think most people would rather choose a film with a 9/10 score made completely by humans vs a 10/10 AI made film only due to its authenticity and human effort its the general public against the share holders and other people alike when it comes to AI
