Hi! That seems strange. I would try to ask for a refund if possible as this seems to be defective considering you have an appropriate water pressure. If not, I would try to disassemble it and see if the seal has any problem or is not placed correctly. I hope this helps.

@@handyneasy doesn’t do anything. One of the spacer is locked in a groove on the rod. I’ve tried everything. Should it just move easily?I am at my wits end

Hi Carol, do you know if you have the Fluidmaster brand that I used in the video? In my case, one of the sides of the spacer is loose and the other locks into the groves and it is very easy to push it. If you have the Fluidmaster brand and one of the sides of the spacer is not moving or is stuck I would return it to Amazon or to the retailer in which you bought it as this should not happen.

@@handyneasy thank you so very much. I was able to finally move the spacer, after much effort. Have replaced the flush seal, fill valve, and dual flush push button and now the toilet is perfect. No issues now at all. Again, thank you so very much for having this platform to resolve any of my issues. You are the best. 🤩

@@bgregg55 Hi Greg! Thank you for making this recommendation. The manufacturer recommends using Vaseline on the instructions. Many people think this is a manufacturer strategy for selling more kits. Personally, I have not had any issues using Vaseline for this specific purpose. Vaseline is cheap, widely available and could be a good choice for most users. I would expect that if the original manufacturer is recommending using Vaseline, the seals are resistant to petroleum based products (there are certain types of rubber compounds resistant to petroleum based products). Thank you for your suggestion and for giving a good alternative to our community.

Hi Steph! If the water is running out of the tank it is most likely because you have an issue with your flapper. The flapper is the rubber part that you will see at the bottom of the tank. If it is worn out, not sealing properly or not closing after you flush, water will run out of your tank.

Have you checked if you have water supply with adequate pressure for flushing the valve? If this is OK, it is probable that the fill valve is clogged and probably you would have to consider replacing the entire fill valve assembly.

@@handyneasy Yes the water pressure is adequate, it had been working normal than it appeared to be plugged so I replaced the fill Valve with a new Fluidmaster 400H-002 Performax now its working but the refill is not tube is not spraying water. I am at a loss because it is a new Valve how could the refill tube not be spraying...

@@TravisInCanada1 hi Travis, if you bought a new Fluidmaster Valve, the refill tube should come attached to the valve and would be also a new part. If you are not seeing any water coming out from refill tube and there is nothing blocking the refill tube that prevents adequate water flow, I can only imagine two things: 1. the fill valve you bought is defective 2. There is not enough water pressure for the system to work properly.

Hi! If you are having trouble attaching the hinges I would recommend that someone holds the door for you while you screw them in. If this is not possible, just try to align the hinges as shown in the video using both of your hands (one hand to hold the door and one hand to align them). When the hinges are facing toward the hinge receptacle try to push any hinge so that it is stable, then push the remaining all the way in and screw them in.
