I wonder how much of this is Bill Brohn's orchestration and how much Christopher improved upon it? I think Chris did better here than his "Les Miserables" work where he reduced John Cameron's impressive orchestrations to just the keyboard parts iirc.

This is a BRILLIANT version loved it an EXTREMELY powerful song in Les Miserables and it sets the scene of deprivation straight away bridging the gap between the rich and the poor, you cannot help yourself but be torn for these poor people who will do anything to earn bread and the consequences they find themselves in when they go against the rule, to them it was a crime being poor.
