Lots of bug damage and a few aphid swarms to deal with this season. It is starting late due to late cold storms and wind. I hope harvest will still be bountiful. Thanks for watching, liking, and subscribing! Happy gardening! ✌💛🌳

Apple Tree From Seed Produced Fruit! | Growing Organic
Просмотров 1623 года назад
Watch me taste my apple variety I grew from seed. This tree is around 9 years old and tasted just like success. I could have learned to graft earlier and got fruit earlier but this was an experiment from when I was just getting into gardening. There were a lot of naysayers and still some will say you can't produce fruit from seed. Have fun and keep Growing Organic! ✌💛🌳

Permaculture Food Forest Garden Tour | Oregon Coast | April 2020
I'm about to harvest my first crop - I am VERY happy with this kit!
God bless the Internet, there's always someone who has done the work of reviewing it 🙏 thank you😊
Im starting my kit tonite!! This is my first try w/anything like this and I cannot wait! Thank you for your video!
hey man, hows this holding up 3 years later?
I bought the same box and nothing happened so I did it again nothing happened I did what the instructions said I don’t know what I did wrong
How's it growing? Grooooaaaaaannnnnn.... Lolol
cool you're showing your kids some experiments with organics and mushrooms you'll probably never forget it I had environmental science in the fifth grade and I still remember things we did with terrariums how the ecosystem would grow up and die back and then regrow all by itself kind of like when we wipe off the earth we won't be here but the Earth will lol
can you cut both sides to grow more mushrooms or will it impact the grow?
I got it today on Amazon and already returned it. It wasn't fully sealed and was covered in black mold that spilled out when I opened it. I then read some of the negative reviews and saw that ALOT of people were complaining about the same thing. Not sure what the problem is but enough people are having a smelly black mold box that it needs some quality control to fix.
How tall do these grow? I read they were only 3 feet tall but I'm not seeing that anywhere else. Just want to make sure I put them in the right place.
I’m a newbie Gardner who would LOVE to start a good forest. I just got a greenhouse that needs to still be put together, so im very new. But im excited to know your a coastal Oregonian! Im in North Bend, OR and I’ve been trying to find a channel that is located near my zone that I can glean from. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and your food forest!!
My brother is growing mushrooms by the same company but the mini
The directions are not clear so as a 1st timer I had to find a video to watch.
Can you tell us if the back side worked? I thought about doing that. We are just getting started.
Beautiful garden 🎉🎉🎉🎉
comments are off on the latest video. I need to start gardening so I can understand agriculture better. collapse probably coming in next decade with global warming
I'm not sure what's up with the comments on my last one. I agree it is a good time to think about growing for the future. I'm optimistic that the next generation will green things up again but we have to teach and inspire them to do so ✌️💛🌳🙏🌎
@@growingorganic5382 I think you may need to make sure video is set as not for kids. That will disable comments
My has been sitting for a week and I only see spots of green mold 🤦🏾♀️🥺
Don't cut out plastic. They will dry up.😢
Thanks for your Video. I am at that point right now, where I am digging up my lawn to create this wonderful food forest, so its great to see how yours has turned out so wonderulf
I pulled mine out of the box before cutting the bag. Now which side is up?
I have some king tut peas for next year, can't wait!👍
I started my kit on nov 29. Today checked my kit. I thought I was looking at PINKISH MUSHROOM growth, but lifted section of the X and the growth was powder that disintegrated. sooo disappointed
☝️☝️☝️☝️Hey look up the handle for good shrooms grow kits spores etc
Get a better spores
What type of hose is that
Love ❤️ this work out.....short and sweet
Did you succeed on the second flush ?
No not at all. I think I kept them to moist at first for the second flush. I hope to try buckets in the yard someday. Have a great day! ✌️💛🌳
This is a year old but I just came to say i planted these in my garden and they are so gorgeous. They love my trellis and are thriving. Loved this video!!
They are very pretty and tasty! Glad to hear they are growing good for you! I planted the seed I saved from last year in the same planter and everything is doing great again! I hope to make an update soon thanks for the support and happy gardening! ✌️💛🌳
Is the flower edible
Out of curiosity about how much weight was from your harvest since I’m getting ready to start a couple kits?
No I did not weigh them. Good luck on your kits and have fun!
@@growingorganic5382 Thank you. The next time you do one of those kits you should weigh your overall harvest because I heard that there’s some decent money in selling to local restaurants and farmers markets.
@@ryannichols9452 if restaurants are going to pay good money for mushrooms, usually they want the wild or rare one.
@@hp4415 Thanks for the info.
Mine were ready in 3 days
Where did you find Egyptian Walking Onions? I live in Springfield, OR and would love to find some locally.
I bought 10 bulbs for $1 ea 2 seasons ago. They were not local but were from a farm. I hope to have them available sometime in the future but for now I'm spreading the bulbs. Hope you find some they were worth every penny and are super abundant!
I bought mine from an Etsy store, but Territorial Seed Company sells them.
“Got the wife’s best glass bowl just so she can get mad at me during this cause why not” 😂😂😭
Beautiful Garden. Namaste 🙏
🙏🙏🙏
Awesome thanks for sharing
Thanks for the support! ✌💛🌳
I hope everyone has a fantastic day!
It says 7-8 sprays under each flap did anyone do his version or follow directions
Fun, thanks for sharing!
Is it possible to connect a water hose to it at all?
it has the quick connection type of valve. So a normal hose won't work. After a season of using this I suggest making one from a plastic barrel. The liner ripped and made it garbage. 😭
@@growingorganic5382 any plastic ones you suggest
Thank you for the video enjoyed watching.
Thanks for the support! ✌💛🌳
@@growingorganic5382 😊
Hope everyone is having a great day! Sorry for the heavy breathing I tend to take videos after a lot of yard work 😅 ✌💛🌳
I regret to inform you that you did it wrong, you are supposed to pop out the section with the dotted line then cut the x the size of that little section
Your pear tree looks great! Lovely garden! I love garden tours! Only thing I’ve posted my own channel because they’re my favorite thing to watch!
Same here haha! I'll give yours a look! Thanks for the support and happy gardening! ✌💛🌳
Your food forest is looking great; I have a lot of deer coming through pruning just about everything even the onion tops. We are learning how to protect from them as well as the slugs. So happy to see your abundance. Yes we are doing it.
hi there from the Central Oregon Coast, I love how we can have our greens, all winter. Greens like swiss chard, collards, broccoli, kale, parsley, and chives galore. i also have some rhubarb doing quite well. It is spring now 2022 April and our blueberries look like yours, last year I tried to grow ginger it did not make a lot but this year I am going to plant a lot more in a huge pot and see if I get more. Thank you for this video. keep up the experimenting. It would be helpful to know if different areas you are showing have west or south sun exposure and approximately how many hours a day. That I know is tricky to figure out because you have forest around you like I do.
I will try to add that info into my future videos, thank you! I like to try things in the ground and in pots and see who does better. I also experiment and try to diy alot in the garden. We do have an amazing growing season around the oregon coast. The walking onions and tree collards have been very fun to grow and stick through winter. I hope your garden does amazing this year and thanks for watching and supporting! ✌💛🌳
I know the camera work is not the best. It will get better as I go. I haven't made a video in a while. Anyways hope everyone has a great day! ✌💛🌳
Cool man thanks for the video because the directions on the box are as good as non existent…I bought mine half off because they started growing in the store..I walked up to the manager munching on shrooms like hey how much are these and I think I freaked him out a little
I was shocked when I went to water on day 3 and there were hundreds of little mushrooms. Did you ever get a second batch from that kit?
Same here.. literally shocked
Your kit came with a lot more info than mine, also no spray bottle. Just soaking mine today so fingers crossed! Thanks for the post!
They make two kits you must’ve got the mini kit I have one of each but you can buy a better sprayer if you buy a big zip sprayer like at tractor supply it’s like a fantastic bottle and they hold up well they are worth the price I think they’re about $12 well that may be for two of them
Mine is looking blue versus that grey color, is that okay?
I forgot what the instructions said but I think they mentioned more or less sun affects the color. Sounds normal to me, hope they are tasty!
@@growingorganic5382 thanks so much!!!
Throw that knife in the garbage immediately
🤣
Isn't Lemon verbena just great! That lemon sherbet scent ,love it. I try to keep mine year to year in an unheated plastic greenhouse( I'm in UK)
It is amazing! Mine has died and came back for a few years now. The smell is something everyone must experience! ✌💛🌳
I need to grow my own! I live in an apartment but have a decent sized patio.
Great! Green onions from the store should grow well on the patio or citrus trees!
