Another great video! Thanks. I am using a Hobonichi Cousin Avec and a 5year journal for memory keeping. I wasn’t going to have the Avec but I found out that I like doing the creative memory keeping. But, I also want the shirt little snippet for future in my 5 year journal. Then I have my travel journal system. Still working on this.

Just wanted to take a moment to say thank you! Thanks to your videos (that I have been binge watching!) I finally created my first ever creative/memory keeping spread in my journal. It was so much fun and I'm very happy with how it turned out. You helped me get over my fear of the blank page and I will now be able to look back on awesome memories and creativity throughout the years. Can't wait to keep up with your lovely work and learn more! :D

I love journaling

My dark brown regular and passport TN has "Midori" stamped on the back. They are that old. All my TNs are well used and well worn. You can buy new ones everywhere, but you can only age a few that you take with you over the years. That's why I clicked on your video!

Hi. Your work is inspirational! 💗 I have a question. Do you take into consideration about the preservation of the things you buy for your memory keeping book? I'm looking into this as well and would love to know how other memory keepers do this. Pens,paper, stickers,glue and printed photos. What kind of paper do you print on? Is it normal A4 paper? There are so many lovely stickers and washi tapes but I'm afraid they'll come loose over time. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Inside my dedicated travel TN, I have a half trip, watercolor paper, sticker release notebook with stickers specific for the trip, a folder for gathering ephemera during the trip. I used to always carry the calendar, but I found it wasn’t really necessary for a vacation trip. Pencil board, clips.

I don’t abuse them, but I do believe their patina adds to their character.

So simple yet lovely ❤

This is a wonderfully thought out set up! I might have to steal this idea for my own travel journals 👀 I love the idea of having a minimal small passport journal on the go, and the standard size for the scrapbooking later!

It’s lovely to see your travel set up. I love how the passport TN fits in the bag with the pencil case. That’s something for me to look at for next summer 😀

Great setup. Personally I would add 1 more refill: lightweight paper refill for collecting stamps 😊

I love your minimal kit. My small notebook was never as neat as yours but I think if I take your idea of the sticky notes, I can clean it up. My kit is getting smaller and smaller with each travel but still needs streamlining. Another great video. Thank you!

♥️…Fall is my favorite season cause it last longer than Christmas. Thanksgiving Day we hv our entire family at my mom’s, around 75. But then I love lights at Christmas time. And we hv a day when all 4 of our kids, spouses and 15 grandchildren at our house. It is a very blessed day to us.

Excellent tips!

Ask why do you go on this trip, it's purpose, your goals for trip. Did you visit, friends, family?? Also, Would you like to visit again and what would you visit another time ?? Sometimes magazines or brochures mention things you might do "next time"!!! Document the weather. If you can't tell by pics, there might be a way to look it up. On a recent trip in the USA, I researched info and facts on that state before visiting. Added to conversations and you can use these facts in your journal. This could be done after as well. Anything of historical interest might be nice to add as well.

Wow this was really helpful! I’ve been taking my standard size TN with me and trying to leave pages for scrapbooking as I journal on the go but it never works out well with page spacing. So I really love your 2 TN approach. As a side note, looks like you and I were in Hanoi at the same time. ❤ My first trip to Asia - 2 weeks traveling in Vietnam. Loved it!!

Love the ideas you presented here. I’m new to PET tape. I’ll be including it now. The Washi tapes are nice but more delicate. I will now use both.
