I find it so amazing that when just two intervals are put together it can sound horrible but then you build other things around it, it sounds amazing.

Remember, you dont need to know how to explain music in order to make it sound good, try to have a joyfull time adjusting your technique while you learn , just allow yourself to have musical moments with play alongs, embrace the mistake. and i suggest focusing on learning music , not just piano. I mean, rythm exercises, singing, record yourself, difference between practice and performance, u need to know that improvisation/interpretation need different methods, guess all of that will help. dont let your mind overpass your technique and expression, feel free not to put names on everything, music is a language by itself. good luck!

I appreciate it! I second everything that's been said. I would recommend you to learn your scales (major and minor), basic chord types (major, minor, diminished, and augmented), and number system (I have a video on my channel). There's other stuff to learn, but this is a good starting spot. Make sure you're finding ways to enjoy the process while doing so.

After a couple years of playing, I had a breakthrough about the circle of 4ths/5ths about a year ago...from whatever note/key you start on, going counterclockwise is the 4 and clockwise is the 5 thus creating a I-IV-V progression, common in blues...i.e. from C ccw to the IV (F) and from C cw to the V (G) thus creating a C-F-G... From that same starting key, moving ccw to the 4th and then moving ccw to the next 4th creates a ii-V-I (common in jazz) from the key you end on...i.e. from C moving a 4th to F then another 4th to Bb creates a ii-V-I in Bb...not sure how never saw those before but glad I realized it...has made my playing that much easier 👊🏾🎹

@@יניבכהן-ג5ח yessir...there's plenty of way to connect the circle of 4ths/5ths to chord progressions/inversions...for as simple as I try to keep things, I'm constantly finding things that I've never seen before as I get deeper into my musical journey...and because I also play guitar, unlocking something on it and then applying it to piano and vice versa is always fascinating 👊🏾🎹🎸
