I sunk 1,000 hrs into this game, also one of my main reasons getting a ps4, and damn this game was nice. Story was good, better than the slop Amazon is pushing, but it was just a fun game. I went back to it last night and I love my poison/curse build. I want to rebuild my army and make it good for all areas and then conquer others. Solid game. One of my favorites ever to grace game consoles

game needs a more fleshed out story

Are the load times still abysmal? It's the one thing that's kept me from playing the game unfortunately. First load was something like 15-20 minutes after making my first character, then by the time I finished training and and those additional loading screens, I went to start my first actual game and by yet another 15 or so minutes of loading into that I just force quit the game and got the refund. I never got around to trying the DarkCache mod but I also hear that no longer works, at least as of a few months ago so that's not an option.

i am considering this game, but i feel like a kriegsman class would be fun, like an elevated kriegsman or something that could have say some fun dialogue with any who take the commissar route with the commissar effectively having to do the opposite of his job my question is tho, how does it perform these days?

The best part about Darktide is that there's no marines in it. We don't need them. We also don't need every single Chaos god represented on this single planet. Add more Nurgle daemons, there's plenty more not in-game yet. I'd also prefer GSC as an enemy than other Chaos daemons.

in my opinion one of the best and most satisfying game ever made. Ofc some missions and open world stuff get repetetive, but I get lost in just building my army and fortresses for hours. And killing orcs also is lots of fun

As someone who wasn't invested in 40k, the vermintide games, or even horde shooters in general I find the game enjoyable. I play occasionally, kinda like Minecraft where I just binge it for 3 weeks every few months. I have a little over 200 hours in the game and I still enjoy it. For me and my rate of playing it hits the mark of enough being added while I play other stuff so that when I come back it feels a little new. The fact is the core gameplay is amazing and the stuff outside of it is noticeably improving as time goes on.

Gotham knights was actually pretty fun in coop but suicide squad looks like the worst AAA game i have ever seen….

Picked it up again to play a second time and i know why i spent so long away from it: the nemesis system is imo detrimental to the game. You're halted all the time to either see a captain taunt you, or one getting promoted when you died, and they keep popping in the middle of side quests when you have other things to do than fight him, it's really, reeeeally fucking annoying, especially if it makes you fail said side quest and you have to walk back to it from a tower. Great idea but poorly executed

As a huge lover of the middle earth games, the only thing that totally bugs me is being frame locked at 30fps on console in 2024 madness! Ive reached out to WB recently but there is no guarantee we'll ever get that patch for console.

As todays update has proven, this game is still in beta state...

I think Gotham Knights had an overall better story but Suicide Squad is better in terms of the fun you get out of it. Especially when playing with friends.

2 years later is it fixed? Short Answer: Yes. Long Answer: Not really... Patches and updates are slower than Paradox updating CK3; But, at least we get them. The locked and loaded patch is going to make crafting weapons far less of a grind, while simultaneously making the game by consequence far easier, which means we need another tier of hard to compensate. Believe me, the difference between a weapon with the correct synergistic blessings and the incorrect for a talent build is like night and day, that is how heavily it effects gameplay. Equally, there is an established meta for each class in the game right now, with roughly 3 or 4 solid end game builds that absolutely devastate in high difficulty, while every other build and weapon combo sucks by comparison, so the update will hopefully also address the fact most weapons in the game suck (I'm looking at you Boltgun, no it is *still* not viable on Veteran, hasn't been for a year). The biggest issue however, is how gooberish the community is. Basically, 80% of matches I get pared with players who suck so bad, I'd rather be playing with bots (honestly think the accounts are bots and not real people sometimes) and it comes down to three factors: 1) They're using non-meta ranged/melee combined with a badly optimised talent tree. 2) They have zero situational awareness, often running ahead, leaving teammates behind, ignoring enemies hidden in the shadows, not paying attention to anything. 3) THEY DON'T UPGRADE THEIR GEAR!!! I see players who are rank 20 still using rating 100+ weapons, or rank 30 using rating 200+ weapons instead of rating 500+ weapons, which is what they should be using, their damage output sucks so much it takes them forever to take down elites and bosses, meanwhile I one shot elites and I can solo a boss in 30 seconds on Heresy, where I often am playing with people who can't even do damage to bosses on Malice, let alone solo elites. We have roughly 20 or 30 good players online on the weekends with a 100+ literal dropkick monkeys who suck at the game making up the rest. On the positive, least all the tryhard aholes who'd kick you for sucking at the game are gone, yeah that was a problem back at launch and during the first months after the game released. If you sucked back then, they'd vote kick you. Now we just have Americans who suck at the game who make obnoxious comments in chat every now and then.

Im still mad the in gotham knights all the villains are still out their All we accomplished was getting bruce back then watching him die again And revelaing to the world the court of the owls which was somehow easy for a secret organization of 100+ years I hate gotham knights, you basically end up at the beginning Suicide squad at least gives us hope in the justice league coming back sicne flash was confirmed to be a clone But ghe inconsistency and character changes are trash I enjoyed the gameplay but everything bad over powers it I enjoyed the group dynamic of both teams and how they grow Everything else is trash I would prefer suicide squad over gotham knights cause i feel it was more of a game then gotham knights I had to even install mods on gotham knights to play like a game, it was clunky and slow

Game is so easy but so hard at the same time . Only middle earth content that dosent make me die of bordem. Sorry I’m not interested in bilbo and a less interesting dumbledor. Idc if it’s older those movies are a bore fest. This game is so good and I’ll call it the most underrated game ever

I was burned by both games, ended up giving in a pre ordering both right before release. If nothing else Gotham Knights at least didn’t fuck me over with bugs that were never patched hindering my endgame progress. If you ask me GK deserved to be in the arkhamverse way more than Suicide Squad did

I got this game gifted to me by a friend a few weeks ago and i've been loving it. I love Horde shooter games and especially those that make me feel powerful. However...every other time i want to play the game, i get this stupid error about having to reverify my files. Only for Steam to say "Corrupt Update Files" upon finishing the reverification. Leading me to reinstall the game. I am sick of this song and dance, and I wish it didn't have to pop up so much, if at all. I hope the big update on the 26th fixes this.

I despise Warner Brothers for patenting the Nemesis system. So much potential locked to two games.

This game has a spirit, unlike the newer avp. But shooting sooo bad, guns have no impact, breaks in sound, it does not metter where you shoot in alien, still everything will be same, really awful. Although, the best game for me still old AVP 2.

People judge the alien ai in the game too much it literally makes sense it would be too hard if all the aliens were smart

Bought again for 8 dollars on ps5 and i gotta say best deal ive ever copped, was my favorite game back then and easily still my favorite game.

Aside from the gameplay and the grindy crafting nonsense and the ridiculous requirement for the traversal, i think Gotham Knights atleast had an okay story
