I'm partial to the Series iii, but the Custom EX is a great horn. I had the benefit of playing these two side by side for weeks while I was in school. Yamaha did an excellent job with their horn's intonation and response, but I felt I had no flexibility with the pitch and there was something about the core tone I didn't like in the high register. I bought a Series iii and swapped the neck which improved the low end response, which was my only complaint. I don't like Yamaha's gold lacquer either. My Selmer has a brushed finish with a clear lacquer on it.

82-Z . Имеет более открытый звук с оттенками -все как положено ) S.3 , имеет как всегда плотный больше контролируемый звук , но досмотрев видео до конца , думаю , что мундштук не подходит к данному инструменту ) Ну и чуть не забыл , за игру лайк !
