There's Always Room for Improvement! | Invisible Woman Game Analysis - Diamond Rank | Marvel Rivals
Hey all,
I just decided to go over one of my more recent ranked games for today's Marvel Rivals video. I was supporting on Invisible Woman and focusing on healing my team while also doing as much damage as possible. I ended up with the lowest healing and highest damage numbers compared to the other supports in this round. I'm noticing a lot of bad ult usage, occasional poor positioning, and I specifically tunnel and ignore ultimate sound ques. Three out of four of my deaths on Invisible Woman could have been avoided if I had just looked around after hearing an ultimate voice line. All in all, I think this was a good game for me, and was able to see a few things that I can definitely look ...

The WORST Specialist in the Game?! | Rocket Guide and Gameplay Analysis | Marvel Rivals

Hey all, I've been working on learning a few new characters in Marvel Rivals. Two of the biggest that I wanted to get some time on and have been making sure I pick up more are Cloak and Dagger and Rocket. Both of these are insanely strong healers who can keep themselves safe without much support from the team (and that is the biggest thing I'm looking for). I'll work on making a Cloak and Dagge...

Hey all, I've still been playing Marvel Rivals and having a blast! My main account is in Plat 2, but I've been playing this other one to get one of my friends caught up to me the past few days. He got into platinum quickly because having two people who can carry a game in comms is a LOT easier than just having one person trying to do their best. Hey all! I'm still playing Marvel Rivals and mostly main-ing Invisible Woman. I ended up making an alt to play with one of my friends until he catches up to plat, and we climbed up to gold 2/3 in one night. We were both playing DPS at first... But if tanks can't make any space to work with, the game gets really difficult, and almost impossible unless you can continually make picks. So, I played...

to me he's an off healer, if you combine his ult with any other healer ult you now have increased damage and infinite heals furthermore his brb has saved me multiple times when our tank has died n they've been revived, i feel people use him wrong and dont properly understand him because yes rocket is a "support" but more for damage than health he can heal and do crazy damage if you hit headshots. He will melt people if you play him correct
I agree that he’s an off-healer :)
phenomenal info! helps me so much with loot and my mining for quests as a noob thanks so much!
Happy to help :)
@ should continue to update content like this when things change. I know tons of folks are loving this stuff to help them on their journey
@ I had thought about doing that in the past, but I honestly haven’t played the game in a while… I played it a lot for about a year and a half and think I burned myself out a little bit. Maybe I’ll come back sometime and redo all of my videos :)
@ no need if you burned yourself out. Anyone can do that to themselves. Take care of yourself first. And good luck with your endeavors.
I think rocket has one of the best ultimate abilities because of you're paying attention it can turn the tide of battle very quickly. Popping it when the team is trying to push or hold basically guarantees a W for that encounter.
Interesting! I’ve seen so many people really value this ult :)
Agreed, gm 3 Rocket main here. I miss not having the ability to save my team. But with a good angle on healing and Rocket ult my team and I have pushed people off point in unfair fights because of the dmg boost.
good video btw. I love watching these type of videos. Its cool seeing how others play my fav character.
Thanks :)
I recently hit celestial solo queueing with Rocket as my main ~ 97% of games. It’s interesting, theres lots of misconceptions and negative biases about rocket. As I was ranking up, (mainly gm2+) I watched my replays vs other rockets- and just notice so many mistakes and wrong approaches with him. Even teammates don’t fully understand his potential until they see and experience the right way to use him. I also noticed so many mistakes and improvements you could make. But I get it, some characters aren’t for everyone and may take some time to learn better playstyles. I do have two accounts, one celestial and another gm so I kinda play the game decently well. I might make a video to educate people lol
I mainly use Invisible and C&D. I had just kinda decided to use Rocket that game and genuinely can’t remember why. If you have the time - what are some of the mistakes you notice mainly? Both in general and that I was doing? :)
o7 hope ur well im finding that its hard to solo and try to hard carry on support. tanks is slightly better role for solo maybe? (im on the mic a fair bit) great explanations!!
I personally think you’re able to carry on any role. So just play what you enjoy or think you’re the best with. Supports definitely have the least potential for getting picks while doing their job. But correct ult usage and keeping teammates alive when they should’ve been dead to rights is definitely impactful.
@@Deltsong i guess its a hard pill to swallow that you’re probably a better player and support than me 😂 maybe im just bad. i have to try really really hard to not die during my supp ult. i somehow always get canceled right as i pop it (cc) or die due to bad timing or positioning (even if in in a supp ult?) i find myself running into a lotta magneto and iron man ults i guess? 😭
@@andynguyen5038 I wouldn't say that I'm better... But it is important to think about how you've been dying and try to counter that mid-match. If Ironman ults you every time, you probably have to save your double jump on IW or Cloak right-click. Who do you play as support? :)
@ cnd! mag is a popular counter ult. hes pretty effective if ur able to land it too on luna, mantis, or an invis women in her invis ult, unfortunately
@ many many hard fought losses and victories. i cant tell if im just unlucky, but when i face a good team theyll cycle moonknight ult, scarlet witch, mag ult, iron man ult. 2-3 supp ults, + my cnd cloak invis ability isnt enough to get out usually UNLESS i start adapting mid match 🫡🤷♂️
Good to see you still climbing the ranks. I decided to take a break from Rivals for now. None of my friends play so the solo experience is exhausting. Plus I'm a Paladins veteran so i just keep going back to what i know as my hero shooter.
I get it. Grinding is definitely hit or miss on if I feel great or exhausted afterwards😂 I never really played much of Paladins or OW. Which is probably both a blessing and a curse when it comes to liking this game.
Nah. His ult forces out enemy defensive ultimates. Also canceling first pick with e is extremely underrated.
Imma be honest. I’ve always ignored his ult while playing support and felt fine. But if you’ve been seeing that, then that’s good :)
@@Deltsong His ult combos well. For example it turns Namor's ult and Thor's ult into an instant kill. Does wonders for Widow and Hawkeye players too as they start 1 tapping. It's an ult that requires coordination and good timing, but can swing most fights. You can kill through Invs woman's ult with it.
@@GotchaMcfee that’s actually really good information about Namor and thors ults that I haven’t seen anywhere tbh
his attack is very strong, he pretty much melts tanks
Is it such a bad thing you didnt do damage? Your constant healing can give your teammates a chance to do damage. And then your ult can go alongside another teammates ult, like Strange's, since the ult is just a damage boost.
It’s not “bad.” But every other support should be able to also give enough healing to keep their team alive. Rocket’s is definitely the easiest though. I just like the idea that as a support dealing damage is beneficial too. The more time people are taken down on the enemy team, the less you have to heal. So finding a balance is good, and I was mostly just trying to say that it’s really hard to do that with him in particular imo. And the ult, yeah, that would be a great time to use it. Defensive support ults will mostly heal through stuff like that too. So that’s two ults defended by one…
@Deltsong and the nice thing about not having role lock is that since your team had two healers, ppl can decide if their is a main healer, like how there is a main tank and so forth. If three healers like the meta ATM, then maybe rocket can do damage more, bc his primary fire rate and rip through tanks fast. But then again, his healing orbs are nice 🙂. I hope ppl aren't stat whores at the end of match, bc there's so much more to supports healing. For example, only you can see how many revives you made. Or for Loki, the end stats don't show how much healing the healing stones gave out.
Yepp! :) I agree with everything you said here.
You should learn to weave in damage hold it down and shoot orbs between the orb button will cancel ur shooting and they also don't stack so u have more time to shoot than u think I cracked 8k with rocket recently in diamond 1
I feel that Groot ult is better countered Loki there as his lamps basically fully negate it, invisible woman's ult is still great but more costly as it has a much longer cooldown. Wasn't a bad call tho since it didn't look like Loki had his cc up
Yeah, that was definitely hard to tell in the moment. If I noticed the lamps I prolly didn’t need to do it 😅
You shoot your healing orbs and the ground and then call Rocket the worst healer in the game? No, YOU are the worst healer in the game.
If I need healing and I shoot it at the ground, it stays with me longer. So I heal more from one shot :) Also, there’s a question mark in the title.
Saving your dash and using your wall climb is huge with Rocket. Also. Partner up with a friend.
Yeah, bros so fast while wall running
Thing is. If you dont have at least one game swinging healing ult, youre throwing. This means you can never use Rocket/Adam/Jeff together without actively sabotaging your chances. This doesnt make him bad, but there ARE situations where he will not work well. You have Invisible/Cloak/Mantis/Luna and Punisher? Go ham.
Exactly :) He’s not bad, just situational. Rather than being able to pick Luna or C&D in literally any team comp haha
I disagree with jeff. Killing 2-6 enemies can definitely win the fight and the game
Rocket is a healing alt at all times and has a Rez. Your opinion on rocket is invalid
Rocket is good. The rez is good. BUT you might not need the rez if you had a different support ult. Thats all I was saying here. The clickbait was clickbaiting :P
@@Deltsong unsubbed due to clickbaiting and bragging about it
I just meant the title being both truthful, but not fully. Oh well though 🤷🏻♂️
New sub here...great vid dude. I main rocket and all your points are totally valid. I think my biggest issue is getting dove by Spiderman and Iron Fist uncontested in solo queue - rocket's gun is useless against them and they can chase me down pretty easily. I'm just in coms way more letting my team know what the hell is happening. I have taken @CaptainCoach's theory to heart. 1) Is what I'm doing right now going to win me the game? 2) If not, don't die. If I have 3 or less deaths my win rate is super high. Any number of deaths above that, my w/r drops off a cliff. I will also be learning other healers.
Thank you! :) Rocket’s survivability for a support is honestly top tier. But you’re right, with good divers all you can really do is stall, play your life, and hope someone eventually helps you out haha
@@Deltsong For sure dude. To one of your other points - I do think Rocket's ult is quite good. If done right it can turn a bad fight into a great one. That's been a huge learning curve for me tho. Lots of badly timed ults to learn when to drop a few good ones. Keep the vids coming!
I dont think rocket is bad he can rival luna in health restored despite her op ult. The revive is also just top tier
I also don’t think he’s bad at all. The only “problem” that I have is what I said before with the lack of an ult. You’re just not healing through a lot of ultimates that Mantis, Luna, IW or C&D can. 😅 The rez can definitely be clutch sometimes though :)
@@Deltsong Your revive counters ultimates though. Magneto ults and kills your luna while she's ulting? You revive her and you're back to even in the fight.
rocket rips. Rocket main heals + C&D playing hybrid heals/dps is unstoppable. If you're not wall-climbing and jet-packing, yer playing wrong.
Thanks for the tips :)
Man rocket needs some buffs like his ult should do damage reduction, his B.R.B needs to separate thd shield thingy from the revive thingy cause lets be honest no one is placing the B.R.B for the shields it's for the revive only and his gun should shoot faster
The problem is that rocket is already pretty strong… I think that if defensive support ults got nerfed slightly (either amount healed or how quickly they can be charged) then Rocket would be a front-runner for best support in the game 😂😅
@@Deltsong i think it'd be better if instead of nerfing they just buffed the characters that are outshined
@@Maikol_Secso I agree. I was just saying that was a “what if” scenario.
@@Deltsong ik but it's still a better concept to make the underdogs better
He is good 😊
He is :)
this is diamond ?
Yepp 😅
At 32:24 when you walked up a Groot wall was placed behind you and the cart was in the way. They couldnt heal you. As soon as you walk back into LOS they start healing you and you are being healed as you turn around and look at them. You were actually tripping over nothing at that point.
I understand being LoS by Groot walls because it happens a lot, and I was trying to pay attention to it. Getting low there Ava having to back up for heals is understandable and what I did. There’s almost four seconds of being at 1/4hp as I kited back, and I had to stand still to get healing because they were missing while I moved haha That felt a little bad when we’re on a time crunch in OT 😅 I wasn’t actually mad, and I never flame in game. Just though it was a funny moment when I realized that I looked back :)
@Deltsong I would have been super happy. I guess Im used to standing literally right in front of my strategists watching them doing dmg instead of healing me. I was playing Invis Woman last night and after the first atk I was 5k dmg and 14k healing and someone asked me "you know youre a healer and not a dps right" I watched the match back up tonthat point and there was times I was focus healing that player keeping them alive while they were out in front 3v1ing the enemy team. The people in this game trip me out. I know the feeling of not getting healed especially a tank and I try my best to keep them healed so they can stay up front.
I definitely know the feeling. I play support in like 75% of my games, and just kinda fill outside of that when needed. There’s definitely people that just run in guns blazing and expect to be healed through EVERYTHING. 😅 “GG supp diff” -Probably a Punisher player as you’re both out damaging and healing the enemy supports… I promise that I’m not actually toxic like that. I just do sassy thing with my character, like turn around while waiting. Or at times legitimately walk in front of them while they’re shooting 😂
@Deltsong Oh yeah, I have to walk in front of them most of the time. Ive explored the mals and learned when the health packs are. Cant rely on them most of the time.
Speaking of DPS tanks anyone seen a Magneto go 25k damage / 67k damage soaked?
I’ve seen Dr. Strange, Magneto and Thor all get 25-30k relatively often. Tanks can definitely do damage too 😅
@@Deltsong To simplify. In what tier would one see those sorts of numbers, specifically.. for a Magneto. Plat/Diamond was mentioned but I'd like more opinions.
@winterwolf9376 Imo, it’s hard to really say specific a rank because there’s a vast difference in players throughout all of them. I’ve seen amazing players in bronze, and REALLY BAD players in high plat/low diamond. Stats are also VERY game dependent, and don’t really tell the whole story (unless they’re drastically too low like a punisher who did 5k damage in four rounds… I had this on my team in a plat game. This genuinely exists). Ive seen numbers like what you’re asking about starting in probably silver? I’ve also had numbers like that in plat/diamond lobbies. A magneto on my team (sometime last week) actually hit 35k damage in a D2-GM lobby that went for four rounds. If you’re focused on numbers as an indicator of improving, I would advise against that (to an extent). The enemy Magneto/Groot in this game, for example, soaked 25-30k more damage than me on Strange, and our team’s Groot. But he also died twice as much as me. I also did less damage than Groot while having 21 finals hits to his 11… None of these numbers really matter: kills, deaths, damage, damage blocked, final hits. Deaths/final hits are arguably the most important to focus on. But from a tank perspective, I’m generally happier blocking things that will one shot the team like ultimates rather than focusing on blocking 65k+ damage. A lot of games come genuinely do come down to that in all reality. If my ults were blocked or cancelled (Bucky could’ve even done this with his pull) at 29:56 or 35:14 there’s a bigger chance I lost this game than if they took and/or did 5k more throughout the game.
I am gm that mostly plays strange and I notice that you don’t use your shield nearly enough, you should be toggling shield and shot more often than melee shield. It’s better for taking space. And you should essentially do dive runs on their backline where you run in with melee and shoot then back up with shield to get heals.
Also use shield to block off overextended tanks by getting behind then and shield toggling while shooting to prevent them from getting heals
I’m usually a support main, and just fill tank when I need to… So thank you for the tips :)
I've started going on quick play and doing nothing but hunting their flying characters down with the jetpack. It's not the most helpful but it's hilarious every time
If it works, it works! Haha
Hey dude just make sure you start canceling reload with shield at about 60%. Full combo is left click, animation cancel with melee, animation cancel that with shield. And you’ll be doing so much more. Nice portal tech. Great vid tho you got dia soon! 👍
Thanks for the tips! I honestly just noticed that you can animation cancel the reload with a shield (or melee) and have been trying to force my brain to remember that too haha I’m in Dia 2 now :)
I don't mind playing rocket with his simple kit. My issue with him is his size. Without looking I'll end up shooting the ground rather than my target.
Interesting, I haven’t noticed doing that yet at least haha
if you're shooting the ground, then rockets size isn't the issue, its your ability to watch the screen and keep the cross hair on the enemy or team mates. :)
The issue is when I'm on high ground looking down. He is so low to the ground that I have to get really close to the edge
72k damage blocked is nuts
On the magneto… Sure? But he also died 16 times as a tank 😅
So many people don't appreciate good positioning. Learning to position well will let you climb much higher than any amount of aim training or combo practice. Good video.
It’s definitely been a game changer for me to think about in my games! And thanks :)
I need to lock in on invis women for ranked ngl
Honestly, I think almost every character in this game can carry a fight 😅😂
I would argue with the latest patch that pulling from the pile in norms is worth it -- you can get legendary gems pretty commonly (1 in 4-5 pulls at least) that can sell for 2500 or more.
It's so rough when the tanks won't push up. However it's just as bad they overextend. That's what I usually end up doing.
Fair fair haha I genuinely prefer overextending to being scared though. At least there’s an attempt being made then

I think the biggest thing is to be honest with your current skill set. If you have insane aim or can carry on dps just lock that role in and don’t worry about filling. In low ranks team comp doesn’t matter as much because people aren’t playing their roles like should anyways. Once I stopped trying to fill and just forced dps I got to eternity in just a couple days. I find tanking and support easier in higher ranks when people actually know what they are doing. I have an average win rate on other roles than dps in high ranks but in gold to diamond it was a nightmare not going dps
Did you stop forcing dps in diamond+? I agree with low ranks but am not sure when it's good to fill. I feel like I can do all roles so my as well give dps to someone who sucks at heals or tanking
@ i still prefer dps first because it’s my best roles by far, but I did find it much easier to fill and still win games when I played other roles where I could actually trust my healers to hit a shot and heal the team. I also was high ranked in overwatch with thousands of hours into that game so it transfers over a lot. I gave up tanking in lower ranks since I’m not good enough to carry but support or dps I can. I think any role you can carry on it just depends on your play style. This game has pretty good balance. Tanks I find harder to carry on if my teammates aren’t good and I’m not getting healed
Nice! I’ve played DPS a few games, but I definitely feel the most comfortable on support. Thanks for the info :)
It’s insane that I can go 26k damage in a quick game and other dps get 7k dps and do nothing but flame me, tell me punisher is garbage and so on. Or were you full healer spot and they go 5 different directions, or your playing peni have top damage tanked and somehow top damage more than most dps combined, yet your the one who’s causing the loss. It’s honestly mental. The difference in team mates all in the same rank is completely insane. Loving game but dam I’m raging like 2008 cod lobbys 😂😂😂
😂😂😂 Yeah, the matchmaking is definitely interesting at times. And I try to just brush off the complainers unless they’re talking like a human being and not an upset toddler. But that’s also why I choose to keep my mic off, cause if someone gets annoying, I’ll just mute them eventually haha I will say that numbers definitely aren’t everything and could be inflated in some situation (only hitting a tank when he’s being pocket healed and never dying is an example). But if you did almost 30k damage, and the next DPS only did 7k then… That’s definitely not your fault.
this isn’t call of duty damage doesn’t matter that much and a lot of low ranked players don’t understand that. Even 50k damage doesn’t matter if nothing is dying. I’ve had games where we had 160k healing on one team in the lobby. A Spider-Man getting only 8k damage in a game but keeping both supports dead the entire round is much more impactful than a punisher just shooting tanks and getting High damage without picks. As someone who plays flankers I usually get the most Elims but I almost never get the most damage and I’m currently eternity. Also play solo queue 90% of the time
Wow you made it to platinum in 2 days?! I've also played for 2 days (maybe 6 hours) and only made it to silver 1 so far. I also played for 2 days last season and made it to gold 1. This season has been harder for me to climb and I fell a ranking twice.
I made it to platinum (from gold 3) in two days :) I definitely dropped a rank during the loss streaks I showed at the start of this.. I almost went from gold 1 back down to 3 😅😅 The game feels pretty forgiving with points though. Which is nice :)
@Deltsong Nice job! I had to start from bronze 2 because I only climbed to gold 1 last season. I have also deranked twice already. Tried to climb out of silver 1 tonight and it did not go well. It was a horrible experience with everything from toxic teammates to healers that only did damage. Last season was nothing like this.
Thanks :) Sadly, that just kind of happens in team games… I hope the next time you get on it goes better for you! It does seem like (at least to an extent), the games that are straight up losses and the games where it’s a complete stomp of a victory eventually even out. So maybe you’re about to be on the come-up!

😂😂
As a vanguard what can I do to keep everyone behind me alive during team fights? 6 v 6 turns into 1 v 6 very fast as a vanguard and it’s hard to fall back. The other team just follows us back to spawn 😂
Honestly, you just have to hope your team will do it if you don’t wanna talk to them (I usually only communicate with pings)… I’ve started to play Strange really aggressively which has been working for me. Focusing more on securing kills on the support/dps rather than actually protecting my team. And a lot of the time, they’ll follow up on that :)
@ I got you bro. How do I make sure I’m not pushing too far when going for supports and when should I actually engage with other vanguards ?
@@fymobrolo The answer to the first one really depends on your character choices… Since Strange has range, I can basically just hit them from the front line and push up if they start to get low. I also play venom, and I use the diving strike to go in, and save my other mobility to get out after my E. Enemy divers who constantly are on the backline are usually my second priority (but this is harder to do as solo tank).. Vanguards are generally the last person on the enemy team that I focus unless they’re very out of position. :)
@@Deltsong appreciate you my brotha 💪🏽
been having a blast with invis woman ngl. Ranking up with her has been great
She’s great! :)
why u dont let him finish the troll and counter then? what do u get out of that 1 trinket and a squire gear
I think I was rich on my bard at the time and was just trying to have fun on another class
@@Deltsong there is no "rich" in dnd i have 20 bags and 2 chests and im still poor af
@@sunsetatnoon2189 there comes a point (at least to me) where you’re functioning enough to where you have tons of good gear, and enough money to finish out the set without worry. That’s all I meant by “rich.” If you’re always wanting more then 🤷🏻♂️
@@Deltsong landmine and the good gear is gone within 3 seconds
Climbing from Bronze III to Gold 1 Notes: - If you select VANGUARD learn ANCHOR VS. DIVE Tanking (Strange, Mag, Peni [defense only] vs Thor, Hulk, Cap, Venom). - If you select DUELIST ONE-TRICK and try to counterplay. If you can't, ask if you can switch to a different role (we all have off nights). - If you select STRATEGIST, KINDLY tell you're team to not lose Line of Sight and/or find ways to enable your team to do MORE damage (you're NOT JUST A HEALER). - If you've been relegated or need to FILL A ROLE, learn these 6: Anchor DR. STRANGE, Trapper GROOT, Flanker SCARLET WITCH, Tank Buster PUNISHER, Backline Hit Scan LUNA SNOW, DPS Booster ROCKET (Note: this isn't a tier list, these are Bronze/Silver easy climbers). Last note, stop flaming your team and do your best to encourage them. If you have nothing encouraging to say at least PING low-health enemies. And remember, YOU WILL LOSE games during your climb. Some folks are too tilted and can't win or ARE MADE NOT TO (via flaming or being flamed). Sometimes its best just to step away, play Balatro, and try again the next day. Happy Climbing! You got this!
Thanks for adding in some of your tips too! :) The “find ways to do damage” has been a huge game changer for me recently. Finding a pick with Sue Storm and then immediately transitioning back to heals had been winning a lot of games!
As a support player, if you are behind us DO NOT expect us to turn around to heal you. We are looking forward scanning the battlefield to position ourself and heal whoever, looking behind us for no reason (we prob dont know youre there) doesnt make sense and if we turn around we cant heal anyone else. Just walk in front of us and you will get heals.
Agreed :) However, healer positioning matters for this too
@Deltsong very true!
hey appreciated the video! my main supports are cnd and invis women, but i also can play luna, mantis, adam, or can really flex most roles i was wondering if you have any hours on cloak n dagger? if ur great at multi-tasking, shes real good at keeping the team and urself alive and dodging almost every ult also, invis women is a pretty difficult character imo. i notice you’re not cycling the shield quickly enough, besides going invis thats ur main source of healing urself and it has a 6 second cooldown when broken, so playing it + cycling it often to every teammate is OP. (imo when u switched to venom first point, maybe invis women gave u the shield expecting youd sit behind it and heal) also, comboing the pull/push into the ball is really great damage, then shooting at there feet (up close) kills faster than at there head. but from range, aim center mass i guess instead of feet/floor. also, play right behind a person. play ur shield, and ur invis women shots can go thru tm8s and heal and also do damage, keep it in mind (i notice this is where you should be getting more value, general ability usage) all these tips can apply to cnd as well. im currently trying to push into gold and have dropped 2 back to back 50k healing games. best of luck 🤞
The game you showed there I think was bronze 1/silver 3ish? So it was a few days ago age I’ve definitely gotten better at invis women since then! (Like I had said, I’m sure I could’ve ended up doing a lot more there! Haha) I haven’t hit 50k heals, but I’ve been focusing on playing aggressive with her so I usually have 10-15k damage and around 30k heals, and I just got gold 3! I started getting the mentality that my heals will only carry me as far as my teammates will, and it’s been helping a lot! Thanks for the shield tips though, I’ve mainly just been giving that to my other healer and flyers to help them :) C&D has a lot of great utility, and I’ve been playing her some more recently in QM to try to learn her. I’m definitely most comfortable playing the game with Sue, Mantis, Strange and Venom though.
@ nice! thanks for the clarification. btw, i should tell you that “heals go thru teammates and damages enemies” and “shooting at feet” doesnt apply for cnd, contradictory to what i said at the end. but same style of play. both are versatile but they dish out tons of work on the backline
Yeah, I just focused on one tricking Namor last season and got to gold rather quickly. Sometimes you will get those 1-4-1 comps and auto lose though.
I actually started picking up Namor in my quick match games with friends earlier and he felt great! Those octopus’ deal soooo much damage. I’ve mostly been playing support/tank, so I don’t mind filling positions too much and that’s seemed to be fine enough. As long as there’s two healers, I’m happy enough to flex to Strange/Venom depending on how the games going. :) (At the end of the day, whoever you have fun playing will get you where you want as long as you look at how you could get better tbh)
playing d&d since beta, never tried to do cyclopse and troll cuz i dont play goblin cave often, but after watching the video i killed both in first try (after i found a lobby where i could do it without pvp xD)
Congrats! I’m glad I could help :) I heard goblin caves bosses are pretty rough now with the continuous dungeons😅
Hey all, I just wanted to say that I know that the first point is pretty long... But I feel like that one is really important to actually getting better and climbing in a game like this. And just once again adding in a disclaimer that I am NOT bashing into these teammates saying that they're wrong or bad people, I just wanted to hopefully get the point across that rather than getting upset at your teammates we can all find ways to improve ourselves. The number of times I'm watching back over my gameplay (for any game I'm making a video for) and cringe at what I did is pretty laughable to be honest!
Had 3 of my teammates go through a strange portal to their deaths at the beginning of the match and we had 3 exits. I even pinged it and said it over comms as soon as I noticed it. No we didn't win 😂
@@codysorenson4298imma be honest. I fell for that my very first ranked game. Never again 😂😂
@@Deltsong I got a good laugh out of it.
Oh and don't worry about the accuracy stat at all. Basically every normal player will be under 30%. I think the stat is only there to clue teams in if there is an aimbot in the match. They will be in the 90% range.
I wasn’t really, mostly cause if I’m not shooting there’s no chance to hit anything haha I would still prefer for it to be at least around 40% though, but I know my aim is pretty dog haha
That makes two of us bro
Solid tips and all true. Another beginner tip I'd add to the list ties into the "look around" tip. That is: learn and use the pinging system. Don't be toxic and spam it but just try to bring attention to certain areas or enemies. I don't use comms at all but I've communicated so much to my team by simply pinging a flank or something. Very good that you have broadened your roster and will be able to flex roles. Currently I prefer the tank role and I love Peni. No matter what map I tend to do well with her. I also play magneto just to have a shield tank. I rarely play DPS but I do enjoy Storm. I like how she supports the team. As for support, I will play anyone but Loki and warlock. When you go to ranked will you be solo or do you have friends to team with? Life is much easier with a duo
That’s true also. I’ve been pinging enemies on flanks, but so far it hasn’t seemed to matter too much haha So far I’ve been running solo. I’ve played about 10 games and I’m about to be in silver. Im 7-3ish? I think? I’m off for the day now, but I should get at least that tomorrow. The games really often just feel one-sided, but I’m sure that’s mostly the rank (especially with everyone getting reset back down who was higher up).
LOL this video shows the true support experience. Actively healing a tank as they spam "need healing", getting dove by a tank in the backline while your entire team gives zero Fs, and of course the flank/dive heroes just holding W while you desperately try to keep them alive. Good you are enjoying Luna because she is a very good support. I'm not a fan of her myself because I hate how her only self heal is on a long cooldown plus I hate aiming the heals. That's why I enjoy heroes like Cloak & Dagger, Rocket or Mantis more. I haven't played the new season yet but I expect Invisible Woman to be very good too. The only advice I have for you is to watch your positioning. This circles back to you chasing down the dive hero to heal them. You end up being in the frontline and an easy target. Just stay with the team and let the dive hero figure out that they are feeding. Also the pinging system is a good way to TRY getting help from your team but that's all you can do when you are getting pushed. Good luck and keep practicing!
Haha, I’m glad you enjoyed it for that at least 😂 Your shift autos also heal you with her, and I didn’t realize that until a few games later! Invisible woman is pretty insane. The right-click shield and invis ult are both really strong. I know I’m supposed to play back more, and I’m somewhat trying to force myself to… But aggression is stuck in my mind haha
I Went from adhd bard main to adhd spidey mane 😂
