Zoo game - short demo

Shows a few features of my game which is very much a work in progress. Demos fence building, path building, creature generation, building.. building, FRIDGES, slaughtering, making recipes, hiring staff, NPCs queuing and buying the recipes. The game is currently unnamed, written in C with my own little engine.

This took the good part of a weekend but my NPCs are finally queuing up! The hatch will serve food. The numbers on the path are little debug jobbers for me. There was much pandemonium, rudeness , and general unbritishness in the process of building this.

At Xmas they put antlers on the robots. When I first moved here in 2018 the depot was right by my house, which is not far from the Monkston co-op. The depot was next-door. You were unlucky there because there is normally a big queue of the droids (as I call them cos it makes me feel like I'm in Star Wars!) We also have driverless cars here too 😉

Not that I've seen. I know DPD are starting to trial parcel deliveries using very similar robots (I suspect Starship are supplying them!) in Milton Keynes.
