What a shit modern place the bowls club is in Cooktown ! There are much better Genuine pubs like The Top pUB IN cOOKTOWN !!!!!

Its my MOST FAVORITE OUTBACK REMOTE PUB i've ever been to across Australia. And Ive travelled every State and Territory except for WA. The closest one that matches HEBEL PUB is NYMAGEE PUB out NSW.

Pubs are going broke in Oz due to the ridiculous price of Beer ,Even buying a slab is around 60 bucks ,currrently in Africa at work where a bottle of beer is 60 cents , if they dont fix the prices I can see so many old Country pubs going out of businuss
