I realize this video is a couple years old now and I wish I would have found it sooner! Of course these expansions are long since out of print and I don’t know if you still manage this channel, but just out of chance you see this: Would it be possible to show or upload scans of the other cards in this pack? I would love to be able to use the other content like the special cards or challenges, and it is sadly impossible to find these packs anymore, Ebay being a rather cost-prohibitive option. I would certainly appreciate it, but either way, thanks for your video!

Hello :) Just tried the "WM1_Amy_an_origin_story_corrected" mission and and I could not go further than the second objective. I am discovering this Second Edition and all its rules nuances… But spontaneously I used the "numbered" deck to get zombies in increasing difficulty (from 1 to 40)… Am I doing it wrong ? Or should I shuffle like you :/ ?

It’s a really hard mission, there says difficulty is medium but I tried several times with different options and I wasn’t successful in any of them. Bad dice rolls or unlucky spawns maybe

Bad luck with dices and cards i guess. Grab a better weapon, use the car to smash the zombie hord in the streets, might work… good video though thanks for the link with scenarios 🎉

Should've gone to the bigger building at blue level instead of opening at yellow level. The zombie appearance may have been more manageable.

Should have gone out that first building through the back door.

I wish I had known that these Barnes & Noble games might suddenly go oop. I ordered both of these mission packs and Barnes & Noble was unable to fulfill it because apparently they were short on stock and then after that they have never come back in stock so I'm pretty sure that they are completely out of production

Lead car first drift- Drifting at 100mph requires a hazard roll, think safety limit is 80 for a drift, but it's been a while :-) Found two of my old cars yesterday eve, which prompted me to search youtube for Dark Future. I'm a few years late to your video, but still good to see it 😀

This mission seems so hard! Here are my thoughts though... 1. You should have opened the two bigger buildings right away at start when you had low Adrenaline. This is a rule I always try to stick to. 2. Also, avoid opening buildings doors directly on dark rooms. 3. Search search search, you have to get stuff, as quickly as you can. 4. Kill zombies when you still can :) Still, there is a large part of chance involved with searches, zombie draws, dice rolls and getting the second survivor quickly...

I have the metal version of these two bonesword nids, but the metal deathspitter one seems to be super rare, like the metal master of the space crusade dreadnought. the metal tyranid warrior has so much more detail, however the ribcage bit is part of the model.

My set should arrive tomorrow - haven't played in 30 years. I have a question about lane changes and drifts on the curves - as adjacent lanes are offset by half, how does this work? You're no longer in a clearly defined "box" if you know what I mean.

how do you get the stretch goals on kickstarter? are they not guaranteed if you are a backer?

👍. I dont know how in depth the rules are or if they allow for any in-game modifications so forgive me if this sounds like a stupid question. When "Amy" began the game and used one of her actions to open the door and enter into the first room; couldn't she have then used an action to close the door behind her thus prohibiting the zombies from entering or at the very least muffling any noise she created while inside the room? Thanks.

Spot on. Nice report and good to see this game getting a bit of love. I play this quite regularly myself and it's a cracking game, especially once you start using the Dead Man's Curve campaign rules! One thing I did note though, you determined that one of the shots from the chase car missed as it didn't cross your model, however your model should have been in contact with the front of the space and the range ruler would have crossed the car and been a valid target.

I gave this a try and twice I died. I was just so difficult to get out of a building. Am not sure if it was just bad luck. I will give it another try next time.

This mission is crazy hard. Love how easy it is to set up 2.0 because I was able to play, die and reset about 10 times in less than an hour. I never got close to clearing out more than one building.

Really enjoyed this session. Any plans to do a playthrough of the expansions at some point, or perhaps SMA: Rise of the Orks ?

Best bet hit the big room at start while on low AP then get a weapon crate 1st and hope for a minigun or RPG.

I would consider my self an expert zombicide'er. And I found this mission near impossible (as it is written). However with the pimp car there is no clear maker for it on the map..... the third zombie spawn also seems out of place..... so I move the car and replaced the spawn, the mission played just fine.

When spawning in buildings, always start furthest away from the door with the closest to the door last. You just discovered why. Also, this mission is balls difficult. I have no idea why Cmon labelled it as medium. I have yet to beat it.

Nice. Congratulations on scoring a copy and it looks to be in very nice condition - as you stated. I own a copy from WAY back in the day ... never played it, so it's unpunched, and nearly all of the miniatures were unassembled, and all are unpainted. Something that I'm looking to remediate in the coming months. :) Thanks for sharing this retro look into a game that was out before we had Internet. :)

Love the series, question about a play at about the10:40 mark. The hefty makes a mark action on the catcher, but went through a tackle zone of the thrower to do it. Doesn’t the player have to stop once they enter the first tackle zone? No biggie just curious if I’m reading the rules correctly. If you enter a tackle zone you’d have to sidestep out but I think you can only sidestep into an open square.
