Hi Megan You look really lovely and I enjoy your videos I am on mounjaro start week 12 tomorrow and at the end of every single week I weigh myself in the morning and I gain back weight I walk exercise do everything the best I can and if I eat a little more or less I lose hardly anything My 2nd month on 5 mg as my doctor has left too It’s also expensive here that’s why I haven’t gone up yet in dose Thanks I’m really losing hope so any tips I would really appreciate 😀

Two main reasons why some may experience abdominal cramps on Mounjaro are slowed gastric emptying and food fermentation in the gut. Slowed gastric emptying causes food to sit in your digestive system for extended periods. Eating smaller portions can reduce the amount of food retained, lowering the risk of cramps from distension or pressure. Fermentation occurs when undigested food is broken down by gut bacteria, releasing gases that expand the gut. This expansion can cause bloating, which increases pressure in the abdomen, leading to cramping. Some foods, like beans and high-fiber vegetables, produce more gas, while others, like animal-based foods (e.g., eggs, chicken, beef, and fish), release minimal gas and digest easily, reducing bloating and discomfort.

I’ve been a subscriber for some time, but haven’t commented as of yet and I’ve been in love of your channel ever since 💗 also, running outside on the asphalt/concrete could most likely be a contributing factor to your knee complications. I’m no medical expert ofc but I did sports for practically my whole life and I dealt with really bad shin splints as well … they suck 🙄 and growing up in a country where most of our sports facilities were outside… that pounding could be brutal on the knees and shins. LOVE LOVE your dedication to exercise it’s so encouraging for me! Thank youuu 🩷 praying your knee issues doesn’t keep progressing into anything more

Hi Megan!! Love your videos ❤. Was going to add that I use to have shin issue too, and would use sports tape. Which helped me. Maybe it’ll be worth looking into to adding on the list you mentioned to alleviate the shin splints
