Good analysis. Thank you Costs however vary slightly in different locations and cities due to the variations in costs of materials and labor. Cement and labor costs are surprisingly cheaper in Abuja than Lagos. Plank cost (3000 Naira) was outrageous in my location too.

I'm not a civil or structural engineer, but I have an observation to make. Even though the foundation has been laid, it appears to me that the continuous flow of water from the neighbouring property will continue to impact the building during it's life cycle. Why not tackle that fundamental issue?

Please I want to talk about the principles of stepping down a foundation, that is when you are constructing in a sloped land.

Nice Video. Pls next time always include the State or City the construction is happening. As this can affect the cost of construction. Also include the construction area in Sqm, as saying 4-bedroom or 5-Bedroom doesn't really give a sense of accurate pricing. For Example, this 5-bedroom DUPLEX covers 300sqm area on a 600sqm plot of land. This would help in giving accurate context to your costing, amount of materials used and final budget.
