The Tuohy's and Michael sit down for Thanksgiving.
Amazing how out of touch Hollywood is with real Christianity. The prayers that are done in movies never end with, "In Jesus' Name." Jesus told us that the way to the Father is through Jesus. Jesus told us to ask in HIS name, pray in HIS name. Most Christians know this (not all), but Hollywood just has no clue. Shouldn't be surprised, I guess. Hollywood has been godless for decades.
They had so much food on that table for just 5 people they must be planning on having leftovers for a week!
It's a movie. It's all done for show. Yeah, for just 5 people, real folks would not have that much food on the table.
Pity everything turned out to be a fake. The Tuohy family are religious people; I hope they regret how they lied to an innocent young man, before it's too late
They didn't lie to anyone.... except the NCAA. They made them think that Michael was following NCAA NIL rules and not accepting any money from the book and the movie. Meanwhile they were secretly paying Michael his fair share of the movie money under the table.

I have never and will never consider people taking food as Theft. If someone is “stealing” food it’s because they need it for themselves or someone they love. I have an Apple tree out front, and I see people take apples all the time and it makes me so happy to see them doing it. It makes me proud to feed others
You're not feeding anyone. God is doing the work. HE is the one that created apple trees. HE is the one that made those trees have huge numbers of apples, and each apple have a lot of seeds. That is God's generous bounty. It didn't come from you.

Regardless of what the current situation about the actual events that inspired this movie, it is still a beautiful story and Sandra Bullock deserves her Oscar for her performance.

It’s so sad that Mike is now suing Shawn and Leanne and trying to make it sound like they took him in because they wanted money. They were rich before they met him and sold there restaurant chains for look an amount that makes what Mikes saying they owe him look like chump change and the producers are of the blind side have spoken out and backed Shawn and Leanne.
You love to ignore what's right under your nose, huh? Mr. Oher was blatantly used by those ghouls.

Sandra Bullock never deserved an Oscar for the movie anyway. This was already debated long time back before the current controversy. Not that she is not a good actress, but the other contending movies in the same category were much better. Just for some plain acting and showing her legs she should never has won a Oscar. The academy is heading down the toilet anyway with all the junk movies Hollywood makes.

@brendan594 The Tuohys misled him into believing an arrangement he signed was a form of adoption, but it was actually what's called a conservatorship. He never received any money from the movie despite it being a huge success and is now going to court against them.
