I usually say that I’m not allowed to use my ice powers out side of Arendelle and then distract them by following it with with an anecdote. Something like “one time I accidentally froze sven’s antlers and he wasn’t too happy!” Best of luck to you both and feel free to ask any more questions you have ;)

London Elise luckily that’s never happened to me but I wanted to work at a Disney park as a character performer there so a long time, and researched it extensively - so I would always use their protocol in my own. So I guess what they would do in that situation would just be to pretend nothing’s happened. Just keep smiling and stay in character. You can get your costume cleaned no problem once the party is over. If it was a kid’s fault though, I would charge the family! Maybe mention this in your terms and conditions or something when they book and say if the child causes any damage to the princess’ costume then they will have to pay to fix the issue. Sounds savage but your costume is your whole business really and they aren’t cheap so I don’t think that unreasonable. But yeah if it’s an accident just smile through it and worry about it later xx

that girl good question! I would say just watch the character’s movie as much as you can. And also go on RUclips and search for videos of characters interacting at Disney parks. For example type in “Elsa meet and greet Disneyland” and watch the videos. Study how she moves, how she talks. How she answers questions and what questions she asks. Some kids will be super shy and won’t speak, so in that situation you have to do the talking. You can talk about other characters from the movie. For example if you were Ariel you could say “you know, this morning I was hanging out with Flounder and we played hide and seek. I was swimming all over looking for him for hours, and it turned out he was hiding in my hair the whole time!” Some kids will be super chatty and ask you every question from “what’s your favourite colour” to “how did you get here today?” - just say your favourite colour is whatever colour your costume is. If you know the films well you’ll be able to answer anything (and make stuff up - they’ll never know!) Get a family member or a friend to hot seat you and ask you questions and you can practise answering in character :)

Diamond McCullough hey gal, great question and glad to hear you’re interested in the industry. It honestly depends, you can definitely lighten a lot with makeup but I would say Belle is a safer choice over Cinderella as Belle has dark eyes and hair anyway so would probably blend better with your natural look. However I would say that there’s a tonne of companies who provide the black princesses and they’re super popular. A key factor is also you’re confidence: if you feel the part, you’ll look more of the part! Maybe buy some cheap princess wigs from amazon and try them on to get a feel for who you think looks right for you. Let me know how it goes! Lots of love xx

Gemini Smith hey! It was minimum wage which at the time for me was only about £5 an hour but obviously that was in 2015 and minimum wage goes up every year. You get paid every two weeks as well which is handy and the hours are super flexible :)

So glad the videos are helpful for you:) I run two packages - one is just an hour where I would turn up and join in on any games the parents have organised, maybe read a story and pose for photos, maybe present the cake. The second package I would run the whole party. In this one I would usually just bring a pass the parcel, play musical bumps, and other party games with the kids, also read a story. It’s one of those things where you have to play to your strengths. I can’t sing but I know a lot of girls who perform a song from their princesses movies at the parties. I sometimes lip sync and dance (mostly improv haha!)

Jessicah Putai but yeah if you can face paint or have any other skills then try and use them for sure! But if not then general party games and stories tend to be a safe bet. You’d be surprised how quickly the party goes - the first 30 mins is usually just kids asking you questions and staring at you in shock haha! Let me know if you have any other video suggestions for me, because I love making this series but am running out of things to cover:)

ChristinaSensimilla hmm, pricing is a tough one. Are you in the UK or US? I know the US charge a lot more because there’s more of a market for it out there. I used to charge £50 for an hour where I would just turn up and join in on games and stuff that the parent had planned and take pics with the kids, or £100 for 2 hours where I host and organise the entire party. However I know of a girl who charges £200/£300 for a couple of hours. I think it really depends on what service you’re offering. But don’t forget you can charge extra if you have to travel further to get to the venue! There’s more info on this in my more recent video (Part 5 - step by step booking process). Take a look xx

Brii Garza hmm I can’t remember what I put. I think I put that I would ideally like £6 (this three years ago so remember minimum wage has increased since then) and they told me it was less. It’s minimum wage which I think was £5/£5.5 at the time for my age group

I can't think of anything to talk about for a Part 6 but I really enjoy making these videos so if you can think of anything I haven't covered then please let me know and I'll do it! Failing that, once I have enough questions in the comments of the videos to make another Q&A then I'll do that. I thought about doing one showing my costumes and wigs and going through what I like and don't like about them, where I got them from and how much they cost, etc. so maybe I'll do that at some point. Queen of Camp I think that's an AMAZING idea. I've heard people say Amazon costumes are good and others saying they are bad. There are so many places that sell costumes and I wouldn't have a clue where to start so that video will be super helpful to! You should do it! Xxxx
