I find u have to experiment with varieties bc the effects even though it may say indica it can give u a sativa like effect with upbeat clear bubbly type feeling and if ur looking for that traditional stoney heavy relaxed u may get fooled bc of how it is labelled. Also I've noticed that terps are not wat flavor is bc there are varieties with very little terps but has a heavy flavor so the way I decide on a variety is effects then flavor those are how I decide wat to buy or grow

I make my own edibles and the first time I ate them I thought I was going to die but it turns out I was just high AF. Titration has never been my strong suit so I do it in reverse. If it's too much the first time it will be just right the next time.

If you're in a legal state and struggle with absorbing edibles look into Nano Emulsified products!! They usually come as tinctures that can mix with water rather than being oil based, it helps with absorption. I find the dosing to be lower and a much faster onset and consistency compared with other commercial edible/tincture products
