My Girlfriends First Motorcycle Ride Ever

I don't why I haven't thought of this but I borrowed Jesses bike to do My Girlfriends First Motorcycle Ride Ever. She had a rough start but after she got going she did great. We did backroads and had a ton of fun. Thank you Jesse for letting us use your bike. Hopefully here soon I'll have a bike that we both can have our ladies on the back. This is my first video after hitting 1000 subs and I w...
Burly Brand Tall Sport Touring Fairing Install & Review | Rebel 1100

In this view I will be installing the Burly Brand Tall Sport Touring Fairing on my Rebel 1100. After having issues with my OEM Honda bat wing fairing I started looking elsewhere for something to change the look of the bike to make it look more mean. Then I came across this fairing and thought it would be the perfect match for it. I got in contact with Josh at Burly Brand and they were so kind t...
Fixing The Subscribers Bike That Fell At My Meetup

At my meetup I had someone fall and break a couple parts on her bike. So @LifeOfBurch and @KomotoVlogs sent them parts to fix it cause they had extras. So we fixed the subscribers bike that fell at my meetup and went for a nice ride and ended up having a good time. It was so hot outside this day so I was sweating up like crazy. Thank you to Burch and Nina for sending those parts and help gettin...

3500 Mile Review Of the Classic Solo Corbin Seat
Hello brother. My question is unrelated to your video. I am wondering how and what you did to make the 1100 on the side panels red. I would love to do that to mine. Thank you for your time.
Going live while riding seems like such a great concept, however I could see the local police catching wind of me going live and know exactly where I am. It is hands free though...
@@FYERFIGHTER no policeman cares that much and I’m not breaking the law lol haha
My grandparents lived in Buffalo when I was young and we took many trips there. Still have a few family members there.
@@CraigSmith568 nice dude! Yeah we are at the falls right now
loved the video bro, they do complete the setup with the fairing. ride safely and enjoy your trip!
@@MotoMarauder I will try and enjoy it! I’ll be at the falls tomorrow!
Looking good!! Nice work dude
@@SLIGHT_ thanks brother I appreciate it!
Love the way motorcycles look without the mirrors. But... Avoiding death, so I'll rock the mirrors. Matches that fairing perfectly. Looking sharp. Have a safe trip!
@@FYERFIGHTER thanks man! I love how they look!
The hand guards look good, and I like the idea of changing the mirrors to match the hand guards. Enjoy your trip and stay safe. ✌️
@@MusicMikeRay thanks Brit)34 I appreciate it!!
Have you adjusted the front shocks also? Im a bigger dude and am struggling to get them dialed in.
@@smrtazz101 I don’t ever remember doing that. I felt like it was fine for me. Maybe in the future I might experiment with it
I have a 2024 1100T.... I want to do the burley brand shocks but they are currently out of stock. I have adjusted both rear and front shocks from factory. The rear shocks are set to 3 clicks from factory....I took it 6 clicks. Three front I tightened about 3 full rotations. I am 6 foot about 170lbs with a 34 inch inseam. The ride is still bumpy as all hell and to make it worse, I get bad speed wobbles at higher speeds. I tried adding psi to tires but that did not help the wobble 😢
@@lopezdad30 i think you have the shocks over tightened on the front. I am 6' 270 and only have 1 1/2 on the front and the rear are to 13 clicks. Also, I highly recommend lowering the psi back to normal. I ordered the cheap ass $50 windscreen from the life of birch video and it helped with the wind resistance from my body. Its only temporary, but it works for now. Maybe you should consider the same.
@smrtazz101 thanku sir!! I will definitely put the psi back to normal this week.... the reason why I have the front so stiff is because my fork tool bag rubs all over my front fender but since my wobble got worse, I'm gonna have to go back to only 1 or 1.5 turns.
@smrtazz101 also, I have the T model so it has the batwing fairing with a small windscreen.... maybe that could be contributing some to the wobble as well.
I'm an older Rider and I can tell you right now I learned right quick you don't just go jerking that throttle back, it's like a car you give it a little gas and go, you don't floorboard a car, don't floorboard a motorcycle. You will live to see the next day. 🤟GOD BLESS 🤟🇺🇲
@@icuabc1235 thanks for you response! Yeah if you take it easy and go slow you will learn fast
Looks good dude. Looking forward to your continued success!
@@SLIGHT_ hanks brother I appreciate you
That helmet is awesome but the hoodie is slightly better. Looks good man!!!👍👍
@@FYERFIGHTER hahah lol. I love my helmet I will never not have a Captain America helmet if I can help it lol
I was wondering when I'd see a video from you! Merch looks good 😊
@@noorebel thanks it’s been a while but life is been crazy just doing everything. But now I will be posting more! Thanks for the kind words. Now when is your next video coming out!?
@@therideofalifetime it'll probably be a while, I've got a lot going on too unfortunately, working full time, been doing a management course for the last year, that runs until April and I'm doing another course that runs until May. As much as I love my job it gets in the way of fun and free time 😂

Oh, and the sponsor bit made me laugh. Adding humor to a sponsor should be a must or at least the fact that you could stand by the product.
@@FYERFIGHTER thanks dude yeah it’s one of my favorite parts.
That looks really good on the Rebel. Nice work and "Mean" is a good description. Enjoy! 💪
Less than a month away from falling back an hour. Night rides at 5pm hahaha Cold night rides at 5pm I should say.
Never been on a bike b4, and I'm currently have bike fever. I'm trying to sign up for the MSF course but hesitant. I like the Rebel 1100 and the Fury. My friends tell me not to get those bikes because of my size.. But, I think for my first bike I would like the Rebel 1100t(manual)
@@AlonzoJones-y3l I would recommend the msf course first and learn everything you can there. Also this will give you an idea if you can or can’t handle something bigger because they will have small bikes there. Then from there maybe go to a dealer and sit on the rebel 1100 and the 500 and see how you feel with the weight. I only started on a rebel 1100 cause I knew me well and knew what I could and couldn’t handle. I wish you all the best my friend come back to my channel and let me know which way you go I’d love to hear what you did. 🤘🏻
@@therideofalifetime Thanks for the advice. I'm short in height (5'7), but heavy in weight (330). By my weight they're saying I need a big bike. But, like I said, I like both the Honda's..
@@AlonzoJones-y3l I weight about 280 and I didn’t want to get a bike that couldn’t handle my weight so I get it. But you need to be comfortable to enjoy yourself. But it won’t hurt to try the bike at the msf course. That’s where I’d start
Viking bags does not sell that model anymore for the 1100
Sorry I missed the update earlier I was packing up getting ready for the ride to Canaan Valley tomorrow morning. I'm hoping to get some great footage. The merch looks great
Thanks brother nice meeting you the other day!
Maybe rename your video title if you're not going to show the setup.
I have the Corbin. Best Buy ever!
Right I love mine I’m gonna be switching up my colors here soon to basically be leather all black with the red
i want to do this with my stream and my bike what go pro are u using i want to start off with a cheap one i gotta get the full go pro set up first im thinking about getting the go pro hero 5 black
@@TheCleveland1987 hey yeah so I have the go pro hero 11 black. The 5 is what I started on but tbh the widest angle they have is just wide but the newer versions have stuff like superview so people can see more of what is going on. Then I have the go pro mic adapter with the giant squid mic and it works like a dream. I will say that I’ll be going to insta 360 ace pro at some point because it’s just an all around better camera. I know it might be more expensive but it really is worth it.
@@therideofalifetime I'm all new to this only been riding for a month thanks for the reply
I see the Corbin seat has rivets underneath, do they scratch up the rear seat rail?
@@jamesbronson3347 only slightly and it’s not all of them. I think I’ve had maybe one or 2 do that.
Not the chain; forgot the grease? (didn't see any in the video in the video..) The "spacers" rubbing on the peg..
I did do that after the fact. I forgot to include that in the video.
Powerful and important message. You are helping more than you know for as long as this video stays up. Glad you did not go through with it and let this be a lesson to the many that read this and read through the other comments. Gotta keep pushing through and ask for help!!! Take care all.
Thanks dude I just want to help people as much as I can and sharing my story i hope people know they aren't alone
burly fairing tall makes and looks your bike more bigger imo
In a good way or bad way? I think it makes it look mean 😡 in a good way lol
@@therideofalifetime in a good way ofc <3
She did SO good! I had anxiety just watching you guys when cars were close but you could hear the excitement from her and I’m so glad you guys had a good ride!
Thank you so much! She very much enjoyed it!
Just tossing this out there; The [action] camera is what's using the "Hotspot" to connect to your phone.. Then sending the video feed through the mobile data on your phone to RUclips/Internet. Sending Video over bluetooth is not great quality; so it uses the Wifi connection created by the "Hotspot" to do so..
Yeah I researched it a little bit and I just think my phone was dropping the hotspot every so often. I’ll be trying to fix it and make it better in the future 🤘🏻
In case anyone wonders, the stilettos work just as sweet on the 500 ;)
I like the look of the fairing. You may have to experiment with the height of the windshield. You can do something thinking you are improving it and end up with a lot of turbulence on your helmet. Good luck finding what fits you best.
@@CraigSmith568 yeah I’m having someone make a custom height for it. Make it a little taller and less buffing on the helmet
What’s the actual number for these bags
Unfortunately they don't sell these anymore. Hopefully they will make them available in the future.
Not necessarily a practical mod to the motorcycle. But maybe flashing the ecu and giving Us a review on it.
@@savedby007-d9z I got it working just fine I had a wire backwards
My baby was the same way when she first got on the back of my bike. It's natural for them to be afraid at first. But after that first successful ride. They can't wait to do it again. You were so patient. That's the key. Keep up the great work. Iceman. American Legion Rider
I had a big trunk and saddle bags on my bike and sometimes I fill it up with groceries and more. The groceries do not have to learn anything about leaning for me to ride the bike. They don't need to do anything. Just so long as they don't start intentionally leaning in the opposite direction from me everything will be fine.... and they will never do that. Passengers are the same. Just as long as they don't start leaning the opposite direction of the way you want to go you will be fine. Besides, once you learn how to counter steer you can overcome almost anything they can do. You have enough muscle in your arms to push the handlebars hard enough to overcome anything they can do on a turn. Telling a brand new rider they have to lean the right amount when you come to a curve puts too much fear in them because they imagine if they don't do it just right you will crash. Anyway, you guys are doing fine. Good video. I do admit that on a really light bike, like a 375 lb bike, a really bad passenger might be more of a problem.
Bike wave!!! 😂😂😂
@@FYERFIGHTER pretty freaking funny lol super cute though lol
Awesome!! Continual reassurance turned into FUN!!!!!
Aww thank you momma Burch! She had a great time and she can't wait to go again.
Time to get a 2up setup! As others have stated with the lean, just have her look through the turns with you, it will help to have the comms so you can communicate what’s happening or about to happen so she feels more prepared.
Yeah I know just want a Goldwing lol with a Cardo would be awesome
Yamaha shouldn't have dropped The Raider from production.
Looks like you gotta get a bigger bike or get Raven her own. She got it down though.
About 6 years ago I got a bike, again. My girlfriend's response was: 'I have always wondered what it's like', so I got her a helmet and on the back she went, gentle ride to the cinema, all good. Then on the way back we hit the empty motorway and I throttled it, I heard her scream and thought, 'yeah, that's the end of it now FFS!'. We got home, she clampered off the back, ripper her helmet off, stared at me me and said: ' NEVER again ! I want my OWN !'. She is now on her 3rd bike and loving life on her Street Triple.
That’s awesome dude! Funny story! But I love it 🤣
She needs a bike of her own now, so she can see better 😅
