Bratislava is a unique city with a lot to explore! We spent one busy day doing and seeing as much as possible, and stopping by a Christmas Market before the day was done!
Our first stop was going through St. Michael’s Gate to enter Bratislava’s old town on Michalska Street. This old town area was restored after communist rule to its former charm, and definitely a must-do on a trip to Bratislava. Our next stop was Hlavne Namestie, or Bratislava’s Old Town Square, with unique buildings made more interesting by the cannon balls still in the walls of some buildings from the time when Napoleon seized Bratislava.
