This makes me feel so motivated! Any tips on meal prep? And can you make a video on how you properly account for maintenance calorie intake while exercising?
@@meganrose7250 glad i could help! Stay tuned
Awesome content! Was wondering if you could do a video of your study setup for some inspiration? THANKS!
@@missjosephinechen thank you, stay tuned for the next one

Thanks for this!
Congratulations Raymond
Thank you clarissa!
That head band looks stupid maybe once in a while but not everyday
What is the cost of studing crna
@@AldriyaAntony06 most programs will be $150k-$200k
Do you go to the gym before or after work
I respect your grind bro keep going! 🤘🏽
Thanks man!
In my thirs year of CRNA school, my workouts took a dive when clinical started....I was shredded before lol
I’m in college to become a nurse , then want to become a crna, you motive me bro
Love that, man. We all started in the same place. Good luck to you, you got this.
yap god
What where your stats, if you don’t mind me asking.
150+ in verbal and math GRE, 3.4 GPA, A's in all sciences.
Glad to see you back looking forward to more vids inspiring 💪🏾
Thank you I appreciate you
Do you have to wear a hat?
You do not, but during covid it made it way comfier as you are also wearing an N95 mask most of the time. Wearing a "hat" or surgical cap/bouffant is usually necessary in sterile environments though, like the OR or during a bedside procedure.
Helpful thanks
So the 5 days off you get, will you still be paid in that period?
If it's your scheduled days off it is not paid. However, if you choose to use your earned PTO then it can be paid.
Whats better nursing or rad tech?
I personally like nursing more because of the wide range of fields you can work in.
I know the valley 956 when I see it lol
956-cuh!
Subbed, great video :)
Nutritious foods, great!
Nice WRX
What degree are you pursuing?
BSN and then go for DNAP!
Love the edits bro
shitiest video
I plan to be an ICU travel nurse so watching how you manage your time is very helpful
lmao update?
Why you have 2 ventilated patients?
3 icu patients? thats not safe and 2 of them are on vents
I am in school to become an ICU nurse right now at 35 years of age , this is very helpful
Zup same here bro almost same age too 😅
31 about to start. It’s the beginning brethren!
hope you do well man, you got this👍🏽
32 😊 better late than never
34 about to start as well
Great video ! … I should be on ICU unit shortly myself. Where did you get your scrub caps?
Currently Transferring with my associates to a nursing school to get my BSN. It’s a scary goal but i can’t wait to finish it.
Any updates? Have you finished?
Best of luck. You've got this.
Let me see what the men do ! ❤️
hi! how long are your shifts? do you get help with those 3 patients? feom another nurse or an assistant? I am an ICU nurse in the Netherlands. we have 8 hour shifts. I work 3 days a week . 2 patients max. we have only icu nurses working on our unit. and student nurses. no care assistants
From my understanding, nurse to patient ratio for ICU RNs is 1:2, thought it was odd that they're administering 3, but perhaps ita just a rotation protocol
Hi there. Everyone in the ICU usually helps each other. And here in Texas, some hospitals provide a nursing assistant, and some don't. But either way, I've been fortunate to have coworkers who are always willing to lend a hand. Thanks!
Everybody loves Raymond 😂
Three patents in an ICU? Yikes!
Thanks for the video, just had an interview for an ICU job, shadow tomorrow, a bit nervous and dreading waking up at the crack of dawn, but I'm excited about the opportunity!
This guy literally video'd himself in the shower. Bruh 🤣👏🏻
Your life is mine bro from the job to the exact food
How many years of experience as a nurse did you have before going into icu?
Was fortunate and got into the ICU straight from school. It can be overwhelming with so much to learn and such a big responsibility, but, definitely doable with the right attitude.
@@raymondbas during your nursing school did you ever work on icu as a student or extern?
Hi Raymond! Which part of Texas are you from?
why tf would you want to know
What’s up Raymond! This video was awesome, it definitely gave me more insight on the routine of a ICU nurse. I am currently a 4th semester nursing student doing my preceptorship on medsurg, but I am really interested in the ICU. I recently got done with my critical care rotation and I loved it. I just started creating nursing videos and sharing my journey on here as well. I’m looking forward to more videos bro, keep it up 🩺🤙🏽
Thank you, man. Best of luck to you.
Nice vid 👍🏾
Was an med/tele nurse in a community hospital for 2 years where I first became a nurse & I just started in the cardiac ICU at one of the top hospitals worldwide… the transition has been huge.. everything is new for me and there’s SO much to learn. I’m halfway through orientation & still feeling defeated, when does It get better 😩
Don’t give up , you got This
how are you doing 1 year along?
Update?
I definitely get that. Patience, willingness to learn, and the ability to detach from work and recharge by doing things you love is what I would say. It definitely does get better, but the learning never stops. Best of luck!
3 pts?????
Yes typically in ICU you can get 2-3 patients. Acuity level of each patient should be considered carefully when this happens though
@@raymondbas Glad I live in a state that mandates a maximum of two patients in all intensive care settings!
@@bettysmith4527Do you mind if ask what state that is . …?My senior friend did not have an initially good icu nurse .We are here in Massachusetts
What are you in school for?
Finishing my BSN. Many don’t know but you can work as an RN with an associates!
hey! im doing my nursing clinical rotation in the ICU right now. Im a senior and hope to get my BSN in May. Loved this video!❤️ I just started vlogging my journey here on youtube too
Hi Milbia. Very excited for you to join the field. All the hard work will be well worth it. Thanks for watching and good luck!
In high school currently and I want to be a CRNA
Stay at it Issac! Hard work pays off. I have the same goal, see you out there 🤘🏼
Do it. I'm on that journey myself.
Because you heard it was the highest paying nursing profession
Fellow (ex) ICU nurse here...enjoyed the video, I miss the ICU, I may have to go back...Keep posting. I work in education now. I'm a big supporter of NURSES!!!!!!!! I am also here on RUclips...!!!
