hi :) how to see hr in app? I mean garmin Connect it is possible?

Thank you so much for this video. Straight to the point! Not wasting anyones time. It had my connected in no time after finding nothing helpful at garmins homepage. I am wondering if you might know the answer to two questions I have though: Does it help the accuracy if both the wrist sensor and chest sensor are on? (Or does it just take one into consideration) And: Does the chest strap usually only work if a workout is started on the app? Mine seems to disconnect or turn off if the watch is nor recording a workout. I would love to see my heartrate continuously though, for medical reasons.

My watch says my MZ strap is connected however the heart rate and av heart rate doesn’t match what my MZ app says compared to what’s on my Garmin watch. I have disconnected it and reconnected and it still isn’t matching up? This is a new issue as they did used to match up!

I've had a very basic FitBit for years, I've tried numerous other lesser brands of fitness watches and have had one problem after another, I'm tired of wasting time. This is going to be a very long time watch, so I am going to spend the money and get something I want.

What watch is it

I upgraded to the 47mm sapphire from Epix Gen 2. The thinner bezels, larger screen, are aesthetically pleasing as is the UI. Navigating by map seems smoother and more responsive when hiking. It’s less bulky and more comfortable to wear especially in bed. The watch face selections are more modern. In general it’s a different watch to use and look at, so I’m pleased with the performance and how good it looks on my wrist. My wife gets the Epix for hiking so not too much scrutiny 🧐 on the price 😂. Actually the larger screen when running is worth a lot to me. The price isn’t a factor. I’m not licking my wounds over it. It’s worth every penny.

garmin fucking sucks. just bugs with their new updates. save your money and time by buying from another brand. fucking useless peice of shit watch that cant connect to airpods. i tried everything but it doesnt work. they should win a price for being non user freindly and sucking ass

Most people forget to mention that the Fenix 8 has MUCH better clarity over the 7X Pro Solar Sapphire I have. It is VERY noticeable, and that alone makes me want to upgrade lol.

Excellent information and thank you for sharing It really helps! I ordered both variants of the Garmin fēnix 8 - 47 mm, Solar, AMOLED, Sapphire. The all black one which I think I'm going to prefer isn't coming till the end of the month at least on Amazon it's backwards directly from Garmin. I also ordered the Garmin QuickFit 22 Heathered Black Nylon and Ultrafit Nylon Armband - flexibel. So we shall see, Garmin's own wristbands seem to be really good quality. 🤞😎

I just bought the Epix Pro Gen 2 sapphire 51 mm for 850 € ( the equivalent Fenix 8 is 1200 €) no doubt for me! I don’t need the microphone and the dive and for me the Epix UI is ok. Happy of my purchase!

This watch is the biggest miss garmin's ever had. No way I would trade my epix pro gen 2 for this thing.

There are the bugs in the Fenix8.. Screen brightness in low light conditions makes my Felix 8 51 Amoled completely UNUSABLE!!! Also the watch lags even in the watch face menu.. it’s a horrible experience, never had these issues with my Fenix7X or my EPIXPRO 51!!

If, by answering the call from the watch, the voice of other person comes from the, so does the watch has the option to switch the voice of other person to my connected bluetooth from the watch itself..? …can function as a fully blown smartwatch is a stretch. This isn’t Garmin’s strength and they should stay in their lane.

Garmin Connect online lets you use a computer to build your runs which I really like instead of using your watch which seems a bit tedious. Does Apple have something similar?
