Protest action of mineworkers in Marikana took a turn for the worst and became one of the biggest tragedies in South Africa’s modern history. A fight for a wage increase led to a bloodbath, with all sides struggling to cleanse blood-stained hands. We remember not only those who died but those who remain behind.

Do we hear the cries of the women in South Africa? Gender Based Violence and femicide continue to wreak havoc in our society. Both young women and the elderly have not been spared from this savagery. The vast majority of offenders are known to the victims, many survivors are violated by intimate partners. As long as women are not safe, it cannot be business as usual.

Tension seems to be bubbling underneath the surface, like a volcano waiting to erupt: it is the race row. All is not well in the so-called rainbow nation that is South Africa. Sporadic race-based and anti-immigrant hate flares from time to time, leaving a trail of destruction. Where is our Ubuntu? We seem to be sinking deeper into the abyss of hate, akin to the chasm that mercilessly devoured t...

The youth of the “Fallist Movement” examined the state of tertiary education in South Africa: the exclusionary fees and discriminatory content, and they decided to do something about it. Whether or not the ends justified the means is debatable. Agree with them or not, they took action. This is a tribute to their attempts to change the course of history.

This is a call for unity, a reminder of what was and a beckoning for what could be. Is it possible to return to a time when those who fought for liberation were united in purpose, a time when the majority of South Africans were selfless and willing to sacrifice for the common good? Let South Africa embrace Ubuntu once more.

Martin Luther King Jr warned that: “In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies but the silence of our friends”. We therefore owe it to ourselves and our community to say something and do something when we see something. And we see it don't we? We see the decay; we see a country edging closer towards disarray. What then do we have to say?

Wow, You showed them. Nobody could see this strawman argument coming a mile away.
Imbongokodo, an African Woman by fire by force. One day South Africa 🇿🇦 is going to be a great and better place for all, because of women, ❤😊
Fight cc fight, life is about fighting. Keep it up the good work, I trust and know that you are a strong woman and the woman of your words, thanks ❤😊
Cant even make a plan for an axe😮
I think we are headed the same direction, we get electricity twice a week if we’re lucky, it’s truly frustrating, we get promised that things will be fixed that have broken down but it’s always “tomorrow” we’ve had to pay R500 per household to be restored last year after almost 3 months of no electricity. Having no electricity is truly taxing, financially, emotionally., I mean it’s a basic right that we’re paying for but we still get affected ..
Beautiful work, keep pushing mama. ❤
salute to you my sista for your bravery in covering this unpleasant experience,, soldier on ✨
my 🎉Favorite person❤
Oh wow!!! Congratulations old friend... May God take you from glory to glory... Stay blessed madam😊😊😊
Why the “Red Coat” have you joined the EFF…….? 🤔🤷🏽♂️🤔🤷🏽♂️🤔🤷🏽♂️
Congratulations Ayanda
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you as a concerned and proactive citizen of Gauteng, with a keen interest in the economic development and technological advancement of our province. I would like to propose the consideration of Bitcoin as legal tender in Gauteng and to highlight the potential benefits this could bring to our economy. The adoption of Bitcoin as legal tender has shown positive results in other countries, most notably in El Salvador, which became the first country to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender in September 2021. El Salvador's initiative provides a compelling case study, demonstrating how Bitcoin can enhance financial inclusion, attract foreign investment, and spur economic growth. 1. Financial Inclusion: In El Salvador, approximately 70% of the population was unbanked prior to the adoption of Bitcoin. By integrating Bitcoin into the financial system, El Salvador has provided an accessible means for citizens to participate in the economy, facilitating easier and more secure transactions. Gauteng, with its diverse population, can similarly benefit by providing a universal financial tool accessible to everyone, particularly those without access to traditional banking services. 2. Attracting Foreign Investment: El Salvador has seen an influx of foreign investors and businesses interested in leveraging Bitcoin-friendly regulations. Gauteng can position itself as a hub for blockchain technology and cryptocurrency innovation, attracting tech companies, startups, and investors. This could lead to job creation, skills development, and an overall boost in economic activity. 3. Reducing Transaction Costs: Bitcoin transactions can significantly reduce costs associated with remittances and cross-border transactions. In a province like Gauteng, where many people send money to and receive money from family members in other countries, lower transaction fees could save millions of rands annually. This would increase disposable income and stimulate local economies. 4. Encouraging Technological Advancement: Adopting Bitcoin as legal tender would encourage technological literacy and innovation. It would necessitate improvements in digital infrastructure and cybersecurity, fostering a tech-savvy environment that could have broader benefits for various sectors, including finance, education, and healthcare. 5. Diversifying the Economy: Bitcoin can serve as a hedge against currency devaluation and inflation. With the South African Rand experiencing volatility, having an alternative legal tender could provide economic stability and confidence among residents and investors. To facilitate this transition, I propose the establishment of a regulatory framework that ensures consumer protection, financial stability, and compliance with international standards. Public-private partnerships could be formed to educate and support businesses and individuals in using Bitcoin. I urge you to consider the potential benefits that adopting Bitcoin as legal tender could bring to Gauteng. By taking this innovative step, we can position our province as a leader in the digital economy and create a more inclusive, prosperous future for all residents.
May God grant you His knowledge and wisdom on this journey, congratulations to you sis❤🙏🏽
I couldn't agree more
Hello, how are you Ayanda. Good work. # DOMARK BEATS
😅😅😅lol
Is she missing the point on purpose or what?😂😂
Yup. She's being disingenuous
Y r we still talking about the apartheid government? You people are all the same and useless! We want to hear about ideas that will take us forward not useless discussions about apartheid. We cant change what has already happen, tell us what u will do going forward to address the damage. That's all that we want to hear now!!!
Hello Ayanda Iam angolan and Iam going to find you one day...
Ask a question about anything and immediately go with APARTHEID this but, but APARTHEID!! I'm so sick of it, you never lived it so stop talking about it.
Of course you would say that
We need more clever wise rational logical educated understanding empathic intelligent people across the board in this country. Otherwise we'll continue being the shame of Africa and the laughing stock of the world.
Clever black does not mean what you understand it to mean, clever blacks actually refers to gate keepers, who are the white mans mouth piece.
Who sponsored you???
You misunderstanding the meaning of that they are telling you to stop wanting to be worshipped
I think you miss understood him {JZ}, clever blacks were black people that pushes the white man's propaganda, I hope Mr Musi of which I respect so much is educating his fellow members not to repeat the mistake that he made in the past.
Look at all the "dumb blacks" in the comment section saying she missed the point, when she didn't. We know its a condescending term used mostly by the so called "radical transformation" gang to insult those who disagree with their views. We know it seeks to label someone as a coconut just because they don't agree with your communist policies that seek to turn us into Zimbabwe. We know it seeks to emotionally blackmail people into voting & supporting parties like the EFF & MK...which both were ironically founded by two former ANC leaders who had corruption scandals leveled against them. Same as the charlatan Elius "ACE" magashule who also uses the term, he now has his own party. I wonder how that FS asbestos case of his is going BTW 😆😆😆😆😆😆
ANC failed South Africans
Preach gurl, preach! We need more of this is SA.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This is exactly the mentality in rural area's.
I'm a 27yo black South African and it's painful seeing this slow downfall of ours and by the time the majority of South Africa wakes up, anything worth fighting for will be gone.
Isn't a clever black the other name for coconut. Those blacks who are white on the inside and are token blacks who worship white structures and don't want to see them being challenged by black politicians.
And they will not vote for BOSA they will vote for DA😂
Darling clever black is like a "coconut" lol
Go Ayanda goy Girl. Sikhathele sindiniwe.
Clever black..where,what...say again!!??😂😂😂😂😂
Big up to you Ayanda.
😂 for what
Haw my sista, surely you know what the expression means... As an example, when someone says, "oska iketsa cleva", the expression does not mean that you must make yourself dumb... You are taking the expression "literally"... And if you want to take it literraly, why would you be upset when someone calls you clever... Don't be distracted easily my sister, focus on your course... You have entered a political arena, if you are going to make time for engagements like this, you are going to age quickly... so don't...
This is my party 🥳
Don't get it at all
She doesn't know what clever black really mean Hahahaha, she a clever black herself 🤣
what does it really mean then? I am curious
@SekweleKaletsane you know what it means
she knows she is just playing dumb
😂😂😂😂😂
Clever black was started by Mr President Kanga man when he refused advice to say he was messing up the country. Where is he today? He is going down the drain sewerage with string of court cases around his neck. Those who are benefitting from the carcass refuse to be advice like this fool who is labeling this lady as clever black. I would rather be clever black than to endorse wrong things.
I love this lady she must musi this fairness of him is not going to work , white oppressed us and we still need help
Help with what?
Any regime that wants to remain in power by whatever means despise people who are capable of independent critical thinking, they want people who are just smart enough to keep the wheels of the economy turning without questioning how they are being abused.
She proved to be a clever black on this clip. Clever blacks don't want to change the status quo, they want to confirm to whiteness enough so that the status quo doesn't affect them.

She missed the point shame
Clever people would never vote anc or keep them in power😂😂😂
After 30 years i havent heard or spoken to clever people
Ayanda, mara why.... this thing of accessibility to audience makes people speak confidently about subject they know nothing about. Mommy please, do some research before you talk about any subject. You definitely exhibiting such attitude and it's destructive. What you define as clever blacks is not even closer to its meaning. Research please!!!!
