Poinciana Timelapse (152 Days) - Incredible Growth Rate
#gardening #garden #poinciana
Probably not the fastest growing tree in the world but this one has tripled in size since planting it. Can't wait to see it at a mature size. I will do a future video on the history of it when it flowers and worth watching :D

Congrats on your Reed. I recommend you also grow a GEM if you can find one. GEM is sister to LAMB.✌️🥑
i thought these were cyber avocados no water required 😆
Hi mate, What paint did you use to paint the avocado with? Thanks
Hi mate. I just purchased a small white acrylic paint from bunnings hardware store and mixed it at a 50/50 ratio with water.
@@TheCyberGardener thanks! We are located west of Brisbane! Where are you?
Hey mate any chance u can link me where you got your shade cloth from im in Australia too
Hi Jordan. I just got it from Bunnings. I really is helpful for young Avo and Lychee trees. I paid around $25.
Nice👌😍
Your avocado likes the way you're treating it. Good job.
Nice to see your reed Avocado looking so heathy and to hear of the history of the plant. I have just grafted a reed scion to a branch of my pot growing Avocado specimen of unknown variety in the UK. Just hoping it might be able to cope with our weather.
The Reed is looking great. I've noticed that the Reed is very heat tolerant. Beautiful avocado trees.

Looks like the avocado has recovered really well, thanks for the update 👍
Man i love those containers.
beautiful plants
Fingers crossed that the new Hass avocado gets established well for you 🤞
Just about to post an update on it. Looks like something is eating it. I am hoping it's seasonal and will leave it alone soon.

Im so jealous ,, your able to put your avo’s in the ground , I’ve been growing a seedling in a pot for 9years still no fruit , and have to bring them indoors every winter ,, I live in Atlanta ga ,USA ,I will flower one day 🤞😂
Haha sorry to hear that mate. I guess it's not work moving states for an Avocado tree.
Why did you choose the Lamb Hass advocado instead of another variety??? Is this an early, mid or late season advocado??
Hi. I chose the Lamb Hass because it is a late season variety and I have a Hass on the other side of the yard cuz it is an early season. Also the Lamb is more heat tolerant which is good for the Brisbane summers. Lamb Hass also bears fruit behind the foliage and this helps protect it from elements or pests. It is easily my favorite variety although i only have 3.
So compost is OK mixed with soil? I thought the avo roots don't like being wet and compost will retain moisture. Also, you do plan to remove the enclosure as the plant grows? Thx
So from my understanding yes you are right that compost does retain moisture, but at the same time it provides more pore spaces so increases drainage. I would not worry about moisture and avocado trees, just don't let them sit in water. Yes I was recently thinking I might bring in more soil when the tree is older so the roots can extend further and the tree can reach it's full potential. Probably not for a few yrs from now though.
@@TheCyberGardener Thanks for the info!
You can top dress with the compost instead and then some mulch. Its probably better because they have alot of surface feeder roots.
@@gcc2313 Thanks
Yep. I did put mulch on the top but it already decomposed. I really should get some more too. I also throw some manure on the top infrequently@@gcc2313
Contact Zill High Performance Plants in Lake Worth Florida. He discovered many NEW mangoes that are unique and have different taste. You would definitely like Zill mangoes Better than the mango trees you own!!!! Do your research about the Zill Mango Project!!
Seasol seasol seasol! I have many magnolia's and for what ever reason I nearly lost 2 out the front. I think because I planted in the height of summer. They lost nearly all their leaves. With a bit of TLC they are coming back. They are hasn't feeders so dune be shy with the fertilizer 👍
You should try or plant Zill variety mangoes cause they taste better than Alison Red Mango trees. There are over 330 mango varieties what made you choose this particular one??
Hi. I have not heard of Zill variety before but i see mow it is a variety from Florida in the United States. I wanted this type because it is meant to taste like a "Kensington Pride" mango which is the variety most sold in the grocery stores in Australia. I am thinking of putting another mango tree in the ground soon. I will do some more research.
Beautiful tree 🌳
instead of pebbles at @3:46 you can plant more fruit trees since its the best part of the property with the best soil. donot waste that good soil. nice collection of fruit trees you got.
Yes they would do well in the soil but I don't really want to put fruit trees in front of the conifers as it would not work aesthetically. I do have lots of room out the back still with some decent soil tho. I am thinking to take my Mulberry out of the pot and put it in the ground out the back soon.
these are some juice little boys there, incredible colour on those bad boys
Bad soil bro. But I like the fence
Gotta love your pink bits 😂😂
