Miss watching this guy swing a club
RIP TO A LEGEND
This is the ultimate golf!
Looks like Payne barely Knicked that shot .
Smooth as silk
He was a huge dick
His plane went down as I was getting ready for grandmother’s funeral. I remember waiting for my then girlfriend now wife to be ready as I watched that news cast. Such a great swing, funny man and great friend to many on tour
懐かしいですね飛行機事故だと思います。
Fuck that was pretty!!… This dude ❤🫡
Notice the PINK NICKERS 💀
Past verticle, very good
Still remember you buddy….rip
I met him in 1993 at Gleneagles for the Scottish Open….an absolute gentleman and by god he could hit a ball! RIP Payne ☹️
The guy had a great swing!
Arguably the greatest golf swing ever.
I would argue with you
Harbour Town still looks exactly the same 42 years later!
He would've been one of the greatest...
Their swings are so similar. Almost identical! You could watch these two swing all day long!!
If you are going to try and copy this VERY ROTATIONAL swing you have to be certain to remember to be straightening your left leg on the downswing at and after impact. He does seem to keep a little flex in his right leg on the backswing. For irons he is striking off turf -- he is playing them pretty far back in the stance. Maybe further than average from what I see in his current 2024 swing as well. This seems to be a very right side dominant swing especially for clubs being struck off the ground. His club path for most clubs is more up and maybe even a little slightly outside (emphasis on slightly) and when he reaches the top his slightly more than full shoulder turn allows him to really drop the club inside slightly and then perfectly on plane at impact. He really rotates his torso very nicely. He always turns to the point where his back is pointed to the target with every club. I believe he does rely on relaxation and being loose and feeling "oily" like Sam Snead recommended. His relaxation and tempo really make his swing work so well. Is a beautiful way to play the game. When you consider this is Fred's own homegrown intuitive creation ---- in my opinion that makes this a simple, effective and darn near a genius golf swing. Thanks Mr. Couples.
Little club twirl 😊
Talk about over analyzing a swing.... If Fred were to try and follow this video he wouldn't be able to make contact with the ball anymore.
They should be standing closer together.
Thank you very much...What a good swing!!!
This is one of my favorite Fox Hill Productions from this era.
Good video. Old school but straight to the point and good analysis.
His overswing is horrible
I hate his swing. The only thing I like it’s his tempo
ペインの流れるようなスイングが好きだった‼️
Miss you bro /
The two Artists of the modern golf age! That is what you wished your swing looked like…classic!
Thing of beauty...Damn, I'll never forget when he was the man to beat
Boom Boom
I’ve watched this video close to 10,000 times and this is the first time that I’ve noticed how Ernie Els is using the range rope as an Impact drill am I right !?
A very dangerous one: if he gets stucked in the rope, he might seriously injure his wrist. He's so good it's unlikely it will happen to him, but I would not do it as an amateur...
Also VS is doing a drill, with an head cover under his left armpit, to stay connected.
All the men want to be him, all the women want to be with him.
The pink what?
Pane and Tom Watson swings. Classical.

His swing is the closest that I’ve seen of the robotic swing. Forgot the name. RIP Payne.
I think someone stepped on a rooster 🐓 in the last clip 😅
One of the sayings I heard from Gary McCord was Freddie had never missed the sweetspot on the club in his life.
One of the last players with the Bobby Jones swing.
No matter how hard you tried, you could NOT copy Payne or Freddie…….EFFORTLESS POWER AND GRACE
Freddy. The sound is music to my 👂 and brings tears to my 😢
❤❤❤❤
His shot at The Masters, and he said " Oh Baby" it even impressed him.
When Tiger on his swing powerful and perfect!
My number 1 man in gold
Freddy is awesome, still plays in the Masters and always willing to teach and help other players. 64 and still striping the ball...😀
'96 Woods had probably the greatest swing in history.
Swing hasn’t changed 👏👏
