Hi Andreas, thank you for your comment. The music was mixed at 0 dB the issue is that the microphone is low. I agree I should have lowered the volume of the music so that there isn’t such a large discrepancy. Thanks again for your comment.

Hi Brian, I appreciate the critique. It is common to have helmet mounted GoPro cameras and these are always a little jerkier. I have used a fixed mounted one and tend to prefer the front mounted facing back and keeping the helmet cam or the rider's point of view. I will search the YT channel that you've mentioned and will look for ways to improve the camera work in the future. Consider subscribing and keep me updated on newer videos if the camera work is getting better. Thanks again and all the best.

@@ivlog3663 tips, avoid staying in Como if you are like me and prefer a quieter place, lovely villages on the shores especially on the south side, I stayed in Colico Piano which is just by the lake and it was phenomenal. ride the south side of the lake avoid the north, it’s all tunnels on the north side. Head to Maloja pass, it’s close and a lovely ride. Be sure to enjoy the magnificent Italian food, it’s amazing at the end of the day by the lake. The other tip I’d say avoid August when most Italians are on holidays for less traffic on the roads, beware of Italian drivers, they’re always on a race. 😂

Audio has been an area I’ve struggled a lot with. GoPro didn’t give any info about audio so I bought a zoom recorder this was the first trip I did with it and ended up being a nightmare to deal with too. I need to improve my skills no doubt on the next videos the position of the camera improves a bit and some videos have better audio too.

Yes that’s a great tip for sure. I’m sure it can be enjoyed with much lighter traffic however as part of a longer trip I had to fit it where I could in the schedule. Next time I’ll plan to ride it properly. Thanks for stopping by and for your valuable comment. I appreciate it.

Hi. Thank you for the kind comments. For this video I was using a GoPro Hero 8 Black and a GoPro Max 360. I have since replaced them with a GoPro 10 Black and Insta 360 One RS and One X3 which I’m loving.

@@Samian_Rides-MotoVlogs you will absolutely love the Alps. I still have to do the dolomites. Was close but didn’t get there. I’m aiming for Scotland or Norway next year all going well. I was back in the alps this year but had lots of trouble so didn’t get to do much riding unfortunately. I have some videos to share though when I get the time.

@@RidingCorners Traveling in the Alps is always a pleasure. Fantastic views are everywhere. You stop for a photo opportunity, get back on the bike and 100 meters up the road you're back off for another photo lol.

@@2Wheel4Fun it truly is. If you were to stop at every opportunity there are areas there where your ride 20 kms a day max.

Thank you. Glad you’re enjoying it. I’ve had some terrible trouble getting the sound to work properly and in fairness I didn’t want those troubles to ruin the trip so the videos ended up suffering. Apologies in advance.

I did bring a kit but I couldn’t get to it. It was lodged deep in the rubber and I was a bit concerned in doing mountain roads with a DYI repair. The Stelvio has some pretty scary drops.

@@RidingCorners Ahhhh Stelvio...one of my favorite Passes to ride.

@@2Wheel4Fun I absolutely loved Passo Rombo near Merano. It crosses the border to Austria and it was beautiful. Not as high up as the Stelvio but a stunning pass.

Haha it was great fun to be honest mosrly so for the lads ive passed on the road. Yes for me I'd have to take the day ff to head up to Belfast so it would end up being costlier I'd say but I'll keep that in mind on the next service. How did you find the 900XR?

@@RidingCorners great engine and bike. Although high geared and very uncomfortable . Felt like a steel rod full width of the seat

@@steverr4969 Yes I would imagine they aren't as comfortable as the GS but the inline 4 of the 1000XR is somewhat appealing. I really want to try it out.

Yes we can., thankfully because the service took a good 5 or 6 hours. It was great fun in the end but I was really looking forward to test the XR.

@@RidingCorners I will have both Gopros running. We are starting in Lörrach to Chamonix through Aosta Valley and back to Interlaken. From here to Furka, Grimsel, Splügen, Ponte di Legno, Arnholz Paß, Matrei in Tirol, Zillertaler Höhenstraße, Bavarian Alps and then back to Denmark. Will be an epic ride

@@karstenlund8956 that sounds like a pretty awesome itenerary. If I could recommend one I’d say try to ride Passo Rombo from Italy to Austria the views are amazing and the road is fabulous. I’ve a video on it too. I’ve a very good friend of mine that lives in Nivå and rides too.

@@danielang7186 that’s awesome. I’m sure you can find some places that rent bikes and gear. It isn’t cheap I must warn you but if you can go into Scotland on a bike and do the NC500 you’ll have a blast. Careful with the ice on backroads though.

It is a fantastic ride for sure, I would just advise against going in August due to the traffic still very enjoyable though. It’s a beautiful part of the world. Thanks so much for the comment. I really appreciate it.
