The reboot really disappointed me, and i was expecting to be dissapointed. as a teen in the 2020s i just felt like there was so many missed stereotype opportunities. i am really happy Julia and Zee exists, but most of the cast just felt so boring. like for example, i wish Damian was like that one kid in class who isn't allowed a phone until 18 and doesn't get any internet references. or in this case. i wish they leaned more into how he didn't know the show more instead of being "ahh what are you serious help!! vote me off!! i'm so scared!". i wanted fish out of water not wanna-be extra jumpy DJ. or with Ripper (i hate that name whoever let it pass i wish the worst for you.) they could have leaned more into the fat guy in school who thinks he really cool and can get with all the girls while being extremely sexist and every other ist. as well as just kinda being a bully. like i think every school has at least 2 of them and they all have brain rot humour. basically i wish he was mean not fartzo. i also wish that Priya didn't win. it was painfully obvious she would and i think making her lose would show how her entire life's purpose was to win total drama, and she just doesn't. it would have also given her a motive to try harder in the second season to get her parents approval. i think my last big criticism is that i HATE the designs. again aside from Julia Zee (and the hokey bros). i think they could have done something even better. especially since Teens now on tiktok have a name for literally every fashion trend. idk i just felt annoyed they didn't utilize freaking cottage core. just imagine a cottage core scary girl. AHHH. i think i hated Nichelles design the most because literally the fit was not living up to the braids. SHE'S A HOLLYWOOD ACTRESS!!!! she would NOT be walking around in sweatpants and a tank top. no way. rant over, anyways this show is nothing compared to Ridonculous Race. that show was so good.

I had to come back after the first episode and say that I have NO idea what you're talking about, man. This is the funniest season I've seen in a minute.. I think I already like this season more than just about any others, aside from the Gwen seasons The hockey players are a letterkenny parody btw. Their names are even eerily similar to Riley and Jonesy's Lauren is quite possibly one of the best antagonists, calling it already Man this series may just get me off of my ass to make a dichotomy about it, because it deserved a second season JUST in the fact that Lauren, Riley and jonesy might be in it You're entitled to your own opinion, and thank you for bringing this reboot to my attention, but bro you must've missed half of these jokes or something... because I had to pause this mf a good 20 times on the first episode, just because I'd be laughing and geeking too hard to pay attention They put a LOT of care into this season. They did her design so well.. and then just made a bunch or comic reliefs and not-white people to appeal to masses Like.. she would be why i watch this show. personally as someone who's considered a new generation teenager I would say this show is pretty decent! I prefer the go seasons over this but honestly I find the new seasons (especially season2) quite fun. the jokes do get a little old and ruined sometimes but overall some of the characters are quite fun to watch and might even feel relatable at some point!
