Finley River Park, Canoe Floating in February!
This hike through beautiful scenery, captivating falls, and one… for certain… “gutsy”cave is every bit as impressive and worth it as the video says. We loved it! We experienced this beauty a couple of years ago and are anticipating another visit very soon! Thank for sharing your experience!
@justlolli123 Thanks for the comment. This place is truly impressive. Happy hiking!
Wow🎉 that’s amazing ❤
They do have everything. I'm not sure it's the best brisket, but nice video! Definitely not a quick stop if your traveling.
Thank you so much for sharing this! Looking forward to trying it out.
I didn't realize they take BBQ so seriously there, that might be a deciding factor next time i need fuel!
I see that I'm not the only one who missed an obvious joke in their Buc-ee's video. It's the swimwear...You showed the one piece suit, & I think I just showed the rack, last time. But the two-piece suit; That one's the joke. It's a "BUCK-INI"!
@@inferioradventurechannel LOL! Love it, I must have missed the Buck- ini's
That was so sick yo
I have yet to get to a Buc-ees, but my wife and kids went to one on their last trip to Florida and they haven't stopped talking about how I need to go to one with them.
@stylin40s Lol... they are pretty cool!
Awesome test, Thanks for trying this! I've wondered if it was even possible to do this, as this year I've been playing with a trolling motor & leisure battery on my inflatable canoe, and I thought about doing a solar trip. Some ideas for your solar canoe v2. Having the panels angled towards the sun, even slightly, improves efficiency. The rigid panels are more efficient than flexible panels, and smaller. A single 200w solid panel would take up less space, and produce more power, than the 2 folding panels. Solid do weigh a bit more though. You could make some sort of clamp on the top rail of the canoe that the panel attaches to, with each side having adjustable struts to raise/lower the side to face into the sun. Really interested to see any future vids!
@McBenjiBoo Love the 💡 ideas! The thing I noticed was that when the sun goes behind a cloud, the boat slows down, but it is fun to see what's possible. I am still experimenting with a panel just large enough to charge the battery.
Good video 🎉🎉🎉
7:30 wow sounds like there were some incredible live acts! Sometimes those live gigs have monitor feedback makes it hard to get set up - gives you an extra minute to visit the beer man 🤣 Live music just makes every event better though.
@rootwad That is true, lots of good entertainment. I have total respect for gig workers, 25 years on the road. It's probably one of the reasons I love live entertainment so much.
Used to eat at a pizza joint right down the road from there that had some damn good pizza pies
absolutely godsent mate! Thanks for helping this young man with his bubble boy ventures
Not boat related, but I don't know if you heard about Clubs Poker, it's like Global where you can play either sweepscoins or gold coins, BUT they have mixed games, I've been hitting up the 2-7 Kansas City Lowball, Badugi, 8 game mix tournaments. It's a new site they have hold em and Omaha and 5 card Omaha, bad beat jackpot. If you like mixed games check it out.
Love this one! I need to come back for the sunset ceremony!
For sure!
It's an adorable duck following that lady in the kayak! Thanks for all the tips. It looks like a great float for families!
@@adventurecreekranch Good times!
I know the crowded segments make some folks upset but honestly it's a vibe.
@rootwad I agree. ..I think ,it depends on your expectations, I do like the primitive floats, but a party river is always alor of laughs. I am thinking of making a video about getting the float you're looking for.
Looks like some good memories were made on this trip!
@@letsgethealed2910Good Times!
I wish they had a better boat launch! I used a portage cart and was able to launch from that swimming area one time, and on another occasion i just threw my canoe off the dock 😂
Wow would really like to visit this place!

Never had the pleasure of visiting Ha Ha Tonka yet, it's a shame the family didn't rebuild it after the fire it would be a great place to stay with that view.

Hi and thanks for the share. I've prepared my little concentrate, but now I'm having a doubt about the receipe. In the video, you say a TABLE spoon of J-Lube and baking powder, but in the description, you say the SMALL spoon. which one is correct ?
I just use a small spoon, not a tablespoon, but it should work anyway, let me know?
@@magicianword Hi and thanks for your answer. I had a doubt when I saw the way too thick result. So I had diluted my concentrate without waiting for your answer, to make it match other's receipe (and thus yours also). Just added 4 doses of water and 4 of dish soap to get back to the good receipe. In the end I'm getting 5 times the concentrate than I initially wanted to have, 1.25L instead of 250mL, but i've already used 100mL in no time, so the remaining shouldn't last long. For a first try I must say it worked very nice. Just not the best day today.the morning has been quite cloudy and almost no wind at all, afternoon should be a little rainy, and my audience (my 2 1/2yo niece) is not in great mood today. Definitely no enthousiasm at all today, whereas last week she was very excited, yelling "bubbles, bubbles" ... while the bubbles were definitely not as good as today's. I hope better luck next time. Thanks for everything.
I reckon the liger was mad that you guys had filmed his private moment...
@@inferioradventurechannel I think that was it.
When i was a kid we went to Safari land and a park worker was walking a monkey through the walk through portion and i opened a gate and got attacked by the monkey. It threw me around like a rag doll but luckily i came out unharmed. That always made me want to throw poo at one of the monkeys like they used too us at the St Louis zoo lol

I don’t think so. I am nervous. I’m learning how to play poker. I’m wondering if I should even be on the site I’m definitely not at your level. I’m totally a novice still reading 📖 poker books 📚 .I haven’t played poker yet 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
Thank you for sharing this. I have Just made this to use straight away. It is quite gloopy still and pops quite easily, should I have used hot water at any point, can I add more water or some glycerin maybe to stabilise it 🤔🤔🤔
Yes, there are 100s of recipes trying to create the perfect bubble, experiment. I would remake a new batch, being careful to not add too much baking powder and really mix it well, then remove all the little bubbles from the top (foam), the wand or rope could also cause a premature pop. Good luck, happy bubbling.
@@magicianword thank you for your tips, i shall let the kids loose on it tomorrow to use up😂
Nice! I live about 6 miles south of Greer & I like it here. Alton is pretty laid back.
That is cool, I love this river, excited to go back.
Stay out of sections where you can't see the bottom and you should be safe.
You’re so much fun to watch but informative too! 😊 I especially liked how you encouraged us to get a ladder instead of stepping on the pedestal 😅
There was a time when i passed on buying a kayak because i didn't think i'd be able to load it solo. Now, i have a cargo extension on my wagon and i load a 110lb freighter canoe solo, using basically the same method you use here: One end at a time. My cargo extension goes in the trailer hitch and makes a nice T-shaped bar behind the roof rack. I lift the bow up onto the T-bar, then go to the back and shoooove it, slide it over that bar up and onto the roof rack. Another method for car-topping is the Reese canoe loader; it's basically the same thing except the bar rotates so you don't have to shove and slide the canoe, you life and walk the stern around to the front.
@rootwad I like those cargo extensions with the hitch, I have seen a couple of clever versions of that. I will look up the Reese loader. Thanks for comment, happy floating!
So much fun!
My bubbles keep breaking. I only saw Dawn soap that says 50% less scrubbing. The mixture has sate for a couple days and no difference. Weaker if anything else. I’m disappointed. Don’t know what I did wrong!
There could be a lot of factors, don't go too hard on the baking powder, 🤔 if it is super hot, try adding a little glycerine to the next batch. Wind is always a challenge outside, also really mix the ingredients well. Most likely really hard water, try distilled water from a jug next time, take it in stride, and get back up on that " bubble " horse! We all get a bad batch every once in a while. Happy bubbles 🫧
@@magicianword Thank you so much. I live on a golf course and have the grandkids here constantly. It has been so much fun making bubbles. I wonder if the ingredients break down. It seemed to be stronger when I did the first bubbles a couple days ago. Try try again! Thanks!
Wish me luck! I am thinking of getting a trolling motor for my kayak. From googling kayak on FB, I bought the kayak 23 years ago in another state! (I now live in NM)
Fingers crossed!
Iv'e been eyeing property on the Nianagua that has over an 1/8 mile of the river on the property,
Wow, that's the dream for me, riverfront on a floatable, swimable river. Good luck, and let me know if you get it.
@@magicianword It will be a couple years but it will happen, i enjoy the channel so i will be around to let you know. Thanks for another great tip on a fun place to go.
@@kenjohnson5498 Thanks for watching and well see you out there!
Love it. I live near Castlewood State Park and spent a lot of my youth there swimming and jumping off of the rope swings that would randomly appear in the 1980s. Many of the drownings sadly were people who could not swim at all venturing too far out. I don't know if I'd call it safe but discretion goes a long way.
I hope to explore that area sometime soon... thanks for the info, and as always, enjoy.
How much time do you get out of that battery ?
@MartinPiloCorrea i am still trying to figure that out, I would say maybe 3 or 4 hours if I don't run it on top speed. I stay out all day goofing around, but always try to save the battery for the trip home. My motor is only a 30lb.
