But what’s equally or even more important to consider is the layout and functionality of the hardware, which is the step most customers find confusing.

Radar Sconce | Schoolhouse
Просмотров 4717 лет назад
Inspired by a light originally used on an industrial parts washer, the Radar Sconce embodies utilitarian simplicity. We stumbled upon a 1970's stamped electrical box from one of our East Coast vendors and resurrected vintage tooling that had gone unused for decades. By holding on to the original stamped details including a cross cutout, risk-of-fire warning, and wattage rating on the canopy box...

Can this clock have a radio controlled movement that picks up the atomic clock signal from Colorado or Hawaii?
IBM ¿ sigue fabricando relojes de pared?
Nice lights right in your face! PASS
I didn't know IBM used to make clocks. I started watching the series The Night Agent in nerflix and the guy goes to the White House and there's an IBM clock on the wall. I had to look it up. It's written "made in Canada" on it, though 😅
same here. watching "night agent"
All of my childhood schools had impulse clocks made by Simplex. I was always fascinated by them. A couple years ago, I found an old IBM impulse slave clock in a square wooden case at my local swapmeet. The mechanics of these clocks is amazing, especially how simple the operation is.
If only you made it in IBM blue to go with my "THINK" sign that hung over my drafting board for years.
Quality and brand speaks. It is also a statement that would also encourage many to expand their horizons as time expands itself in its precision, accuracy and boldness of the design.
We are Chinese clock movements manufacturer factory.
The details are exceptional, in style, in layout and most of all in features of time. Congratulations. 2022 on going ....stronger
A gorgeous light fixture that is maddening to install.
Hi we are the wall light factory , we want to work with you
I was lucky enough to get ahold of an original version, not sure if it works yet (it was from a school, so it has this weird connector cable, I'm going to wire in a standard electrical cord). It's missing the glass, do you happen to sell the glass individually?

Please help. I have one of these clocks. Got the glass off but can't get the spring thing back on to keep the glass on. Rkramme@yahoo.com
I remember this clock in my class room in 2015 and it just died a few years ago
You didn't pay it much attention back in school other than to look up at it when it was time. for school to end. Back then it was just a clock on the wall but now something so small brings back memories of school and other institutional spaces where these iconic timepieces were so commonplace.
What is the name of that piece of metal you added to the wall?
its a mounting bracket
I want one so bad 😩
I like the taped paper 'dust catch-all' under the drilling holes. It would be nice to see the whole thing because it looks like it has a little basket shape. I usually have to pull furnishings back from the wall and do a whole post-vacuum routine, so that is the first time I've seen that tip! Especially nice if you are doing multiples and you can move the catch-all from area to area. Thanks for that great time-saving idea.
I didn't like the lamps but I will be using that idea in August!
I keep watching these videos, they all nicely explain how to install the sconce on the wall, but what I really want to know is how to "hide" or minimize the cord dangling down!
After a little research I found that Lamps Plus has a good variety of metal cord covers that aren't too big and they have different colors, noted below. I didn't realize it but the sconce I bought from them has sort of a "clear" cord which is pretty nice and doesn't scream PLUG IN. Good luck! www.lampsplus.com/products/30-inch-long-polished-brass-cord-cover__u2364.html
Super helpful!
Looks good!!
How can I buy one of these
Hey Eric! You can purchase one here: www.schoolhouse.com/collections/schoolhouse-icon-ion
nice .. I also like the Telekrons by GE
Pretty cool! But to be exact, in 1958 IBM's time division was acquired by Simplex Time Recorder, and they continued to make that clock style until around the 1990s. Simplex still makes some electrically-operated wall clocks, but nowadays they mostly focus on fire alarms.
